Former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz’s potential third party bid for president has freaked out liberal media outlets including CBS. But that wasn’t always the media's attitude. In 2018, CBS This Morning wanted to know if he’d run for office and joked about “President Schultz” — when they assumed he’d run against President Donald Trump as a Democrat.

Liberal journalists are worried. CBS This Morning on Tuesday continued the onslaught against Howard Schultz and his potential 2020 independent bid. Very worried that the former Starbucks CEO could reelect Donald Trump, the show’s hosts played a clip of a heckler calling him an “a**hole” and wondered if would reconsider.

D'oh! CBS Claims Pope Francis 'Spoke Out Strongly in Favor of Abortion

On Monday's CBS This Morning, as Seth Doane reported live from Rome, the CBS reporter made a major flub as he actually stated that Pope Francis "spoke out strongly in favor of abortion" without catching his mistake. The misstatement went uncorrected as the anchors did not notice the error either.

The journalists at CBS This Morning couldn’t quite believe that Chris Christie would disagree with the guns-drawn, predawn raid on Roger Stone.  Co-host Norah O’Donnell icily deemed it “interesting that the former New Jersey governor offered a different take. Christie appeared to discuss his new book, but more than half of the interview was spent on the Stone raid.

Nets Give Scant Seconds to Trump’s New NAFTA Trade ‘Win’

All three networks on Friday allowed just seconds to the new U.S., Mexico and Canadian trade deal lobbied for by Donald Trump. CBS This Morning deemed it a “win” for the President, but only allowed 30 seconds of total time to the deal. NBC’s Today barely did better, managing 34 seconds.  ABC’s Good Morning America offered the most, a still-not-impressive 44 seconds.

By contrast, FNC's Special Report with Bret Baier and Fox and Friends gave attention to a mixture of both conservative and liberal victories.
