Between Friday morning and Wednesday morning, ABC, CBS, and NBC have giddily devoted 16 minutes and 38 seconds to House Republicans being ambushed at town halls with angry attendees lashing out over their support for President Trump, Elon Musk, and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). 

In a move first predicted by Puck’s Dylan Byers back on July 31, 2024 (and then on September 27), NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt told staff in an e-mail he’d be stepping down “around the start of the summer” after a decade at the weekday show while both remaining and expanding his role as lead anchor of Dateline NBC.

The DOGE-deranged media continue to plumb new lows in their collective attempt to instill fear and pessimism in a largely optimistic American public. The latest such effort by NBC revolves around DOGE cuts at the National Park Service.

Making sure all sob stories are fed to the masses, the liberal media are pulling out all the stops to defend and justify the need to keep the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in place (and offer no suggestions for reform). Friday’s NBC Nightly News sent its China-based correspondent Janis Mackey Frayer to Cambodia to declare innocent Cambodians will die without USAID funding…

It’s been our long-held position that the “mainstream media” doesn’t care about anything or anyone except in service of an agenda. This is particularly true with regard to its coverage of all things related to Puerto Rico, and NBC’s latest fluff piece on trap megastar Bad Bunny is but the latest example.

The media are united in their purpose of trying to save government workers from the DOGE ax. Across the dial, each evening newscast devoted significant time to creating in their respective audiences an empathy for government bloat.

The Resistance Media continue to seethe over the Department of Government Efficiency’s (DOGE) march through the federal government, particularly through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). USAID coverage trod old and familiar tropes, seeking to elicit sympathy for the dying agency.

With President Trump back in office, the hostile media have gone back to showing interest in presidential assertions made “without evidence”. This Trump coverage classic made its return as the media melted down over Trump calling out hiring practices at the FAA that placed a heavy emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). In so doing, the media actually ignored a ton of evidence.

As the reality of the Trump Administration’s will to enforce our borders sets in, the Resistance Media scramble to adjust. Coverage of the latest round of raids in New York City and elsewhere was mixed at best.

With a single stroke, the Trump White House sent the left and their attendant media into a tailspin, scrambling to find a way to spin the twin daggers aimed directly at the heart of the Government-Industrial Complex: The OMB federal funding freeze and the proposed buyouts to over 2 million federal workers.

The ABC, CBS and NBC evening news networks completely ignored new damning data that bookended Bidenomics as arguably the dumbest set of economic policies the U.S. experienced in its history
