Appearing on MSNBC Live With Stephanie Ruhle Thursday morning, regular contributor Jason Johnson, politics editor for TheRoot.com, denounced President Trump’s effort to include a citizenship question on the 2020 census form as one of his “crazy ideas that don’t make any sense” and “very possibly have racist motivations behind them.”

All kinds of Democrats said it, so why not their allies in the media? I’m speaking here of the media chorus that insisted — insisted —  that what President Trump, in an Oval Office address to the nation in January called a “humanitarian crisis” at the border — was in fact nothing more than a “manufactured crisis.”

Along with many comrades in the liberal media, MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews was incensed that all of President Trump’s adult children joined him on his State Visit this week to the United Kingdom, belly-aching on Tuesday’s show about the “ridiculous” modern-day “Romanovs” going overseas projecting a sense of royalty.

Appearing as a panel member on Sunday's AM Joy, liberal MSNBC contributor Jason Johnson spewed vitriol at several Donald Trump administration members as he called for the President's impeachment, declared that Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin had essentially been pushed to say "I hate black people," and that HUD Secetary Ben Carson was exposed to be a "sexist fool." He also claimed that he would burn his copies of Dr. Carson's bestselling book, Gifted Hands.

Appearing on MSNBC Live With Stephanie Ruhle Friday morning, analyst Jason Johnson, Politics Editor for The Root, blasted the Trump administration for refusing to allow ISIS terrorist Hoda Muthana from returning to the U.S. after she left to join the violent death cult. The left-wing contributor even argued it was “anti-American” to deny her re-entry to the nation she declared war against.

What a difference a week makes! Last Sunday on AM Joy, MSNBC contributor Jason Johnson accused Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam of "arrogance" for refusing to resign. Railed Johnson: "he caused this problem on his own, and the best way to save his party would be for him to leave." But now that scandals have engulfed Virginia's Dem lieutenant governor and attorney general, Johnson has changed his tune. He is counseling the Dems not to resign, and to "back off" any resignation talk, because the result could be to elevate a Republican to the governorship.

MSNBC’s midnight edition of Hardball was a trainwreck following Tuesday’s State of the Union address by President Trump, so it was only natural for the fun (or whatever you want to call it) to continue into the final hour of coverage. For that, MSNBC turned things over to The Beat host Ari Melber, who oversaw plenty of nonsense on abortion, the President, and Stacey Abrams from guests Mara Gay of The New York Times editorial board and The Root’s Jason Johnson.

At midnight Eastern Wednesday, MSNBC followed usual form for big news nights such as debates, election nights, and presidential speeches in somehow allowing Chris Matthews to host a late-night edition of Hardball to recap President Trump's State of the Union. Inside the blog, there are slides containing some of the silliest series of hot takes from that hour, presented in chronological order.

The liberal media obsession with Rush Limbaugh dragged on into Wednesday’s Hardball in which the panelists questioned whether Vice President Mike Pence even has a “soul” for “kissing up” to Limbaugh earlier in the day and whether Trump and Limbaugh are the monkey and organ grinder or vice versa. Host Chris Matthews brought up Limbaugh in light of the government shutdown and the President standing firm on his promise of securing the southern border, leading to a government shutdown as Democrats have refused to support this proposal.

This week, NewsBusters is recounting the most obnoxious liberal bias of 2018. Today, we're reviewing the most idiotic quotes of the year. Journalists making the cut this year include Chris Matthews wanting “thought and prayers” to be “outlawed,” The New York Times telling readers that communist theorist Karl Marx was “right,” and CNN’s Jim Sciutto scaring his audience about climate change, as he feared we were being “slowly burned to death.”

This week, NewsBusters is recounting the most obnoxious liberal bias of 2018. Today, it’s a look at the media’s Trump Derangement Syndrome as we present the most over-the-top attacks on President Donald Trump. When he wasn’t being compared to tyrants like Benito Mussolini, he was being branded a traitor who sold out America to Vladimir Putin. And of course he was repeatedly tarred as a hateful racist.

On Saturday's AM Joy, MSNBC host Joy Reid was again pushing discredited accusations that Georgia Democratic gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams was undermined by "voter suppression" by Georgia Secretary of State and GOP gubernatorial nominee Brian Kemp as she also wrongly claimed that Abrams had been "well ahead" in the polls before Election Day when Kemp, in fact, had usually been slightly ahead.
