Though it wasn’t quite to the same level of obsession that we saw with Hillary Clinton, her Chipotle stop, and her Scooby Doo van, the liberal media were still enthralled Thursday with former Vice President Joe Biden finally launching his 2020 presidential bid. And CNN was there providing more than enough moments with a few coming in a segment on CNN Newsroom gushing about his aviators, his supposed authenticity, and his hire of their CNN colleague Symone Sanders.
CNN host Brooke Baldwin closed the 3:00 PM ET hour of CNN Newsroom by mentioning that “the UN Security Council passed a resolution to protect wartime rape victims” before complaining that “it was missing some key language that mentioned sexual and reproductive health.” Baldwin brought in CNN Senior Diplomatic Correspondent Michelle Kosinski to discuss the matter further. Kosinski attributed the absence of the language to the Trump administration and proceeded to portray the administration as heartless for taking the language out of the resolution.
All aboard the crazy train! On Tuesday afternoon’s CNN Newsroom, liberal media janitor and Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter appeared alongside host Brooke Baldwin to complain about the Trump administration boycotting Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner (WHCD), which is arguably the most pompous, self-worshipping annual celebration known to man (besides Hollywood awards shows). Because after all, there’s no profession that loves itself more than the national press!
Leave it to weekday afternoon CNN Newsroom host Brooke Baldwin to carry water for Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN), complaining on Thursday that Omar was “forced to defend her patriotism again” after Omar downplayed the Islamic terror attacks on September 11, 2001 as merely “some people did something.”
CNN's Jim Acosta interviewed Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rossello, focusing on his efforts to secure disaster relief for the island in the wake of Hurricane Maria. During the interview, Acosta could not resist asking Rossello a leading question; namely if he thought he was “dealing with a bully” in President Trump. Rossello took the bait, warning that “if the bully gets close, I’ll punch the bully in the mouth.”
As CNN anchors have repeatedly over the last several days made a point of highlighting vows by New Zealand's prime minster to enact new gun control quickly in response to the recent mosque attacks, CNN Newsroom host Brooke Baldwin went so far as to give a commentary suggesting that U.S. lawmakers have failed by not behaving more like New Zealand.
Following the President's joint press conference Tuesday afternoon with his Brazilian counterpart, CNN chief White House correspondent and carnival barker Jim Acosta offered a lengthy diatribe and meltdown to the delight of his colleagues. In four-and-a-half minutes, Acosta attacked the Daily Caller for a “softball” question to the President, bashed Trump for spreading a “virus” around the world that the media has a liberal bias, and even suggested conservatives have a bigger media and social media influence than liberals.
CNN Newsroom anchor Brooke Baldwin had a wide-ranging softball interview with former Vice President Gore that revealed her biases on climate and his involvement so far in the 2020 race. In addition to getting Gore’s thoughts about the Democratic field, Baldwin asked on March 15, “Have any of these candidates reached out to you? Have you advised any of them?”
The journalists at CNN on Monday were dazzled by Beto O’Rourke’s habit of apologizing. The CNN on-screen graphic offered a “style contrast,” noting, “O’Rourke Keeps Apologizing, Trump Never Does.” Talking about the 2020 Democrat’s apologizes for “white privilege” as well as for making a self-deprecating joke about raising kids, CNN national political reporter Maeve Reston cheered, “Beto O'Rourke's audience love that he's constantly reflecting, telling people what's in his head. That is his strength.”
CNN has discovered that Democratic Presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke is a white male, and they are not happy about it. The cable network went into race-baiting overdrive following the announcement of O’Rourke’s candidacy, airing hours of feverish handwringing over whether Beto’s “white maleness” rendered him an unacceptable candidate.
Appearing as a guest on Wednesday's CNN Newsroom to debate whether there is an equivalence between Minnesota Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar blaming Jewish donors for Congress's support of Israel, and past comments made by several Republicans, liberal CNN contributor Peter Beinart smeared Israel by accusing the Jewish state of practicing "state-sponsored bigotry" against Palestinian Arabs in the West Bank and "violating human rights."
The liberal media took another massive blow on Wednesday after an independent investigation found that the high school students of Covington Catholic didn’t harass anyone last month at the Lincoln Memorial. Effectively proving that the liberal media reports about them were smears and lies, all three broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) and principal Spanish-language networks (Telemundo and Univision) omitted the findings from their evening reports.
