Liberal journalists are all for sanctuary cities, flying in the face of federal immigration laws and federal jurisdiction on the matter. But when the small town of Republic, Washington took a stand against their state’s infringement on constitutional gun rights, the liberal broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) were nowhere to be seen.
A few days after a failed violent assault by a hoard of Central American migrants tried to invade the U.S. on Sunday, over 100 of them grew frustrated and boarded planes for their home countries on Tuesday. And after being appalled by President Trump’s defense of Border Patrol’s use of mere tear gas to repel the attack, ABC and NBC couldn’t be bothered that evening to mention the migrants packing up and leaving plus how Tijuana locals were happy to see them go.
The camp set up for the Central American caravan in Tijuana was on “lockdown” on Sunday as Mexican residents of the city attempted to storm the area in protest. The unwelcome arrival of the caravan had put tremendous pressure on Tijuana’s resources resulting in many locals taking to the streets in opposition. It was a serious and dangerous development that went completely unreported during ABC’s World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News Monday evening.
On Monday night’s Special Report, Fox News anchor Bret Baier took time to correct false reporting from MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell earlier that day claiming incompetent Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes was a “Republican,” when, in fact, the Florida official was a lifelong Democrat.
The same night the liberal broadcast networks ABC and NBC were acting as though Trump’s combative press conference on Wednesday was some kind of affront to the First Amendment, the Washington D.C. area home of Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson was under assault by a radical leftist mob shouting threats. During both their morning and evening broadcasts Thursday, ABC and NBC ignored the actual attack on someone’s free speech.
As CBS informed viewers of a number of ballot initiatives that were passed in various states on Tuesday, both the CBS Evening News and the CBS This Morning on Wednesday only showed interest in cases in which liberals were victorious. By contrast, FNC's Special Report with Bret Baier and Fox and Friends gave attention to a mixture of both conservative and liberal victories.
As the midterms fast approach, there are a bunch of Democrats who find themselves embroiled in scandals and controversies. But if you only got your news from the Big Three (ABC, CBS, NBC) networks, you’ve probably never heard about them. From Texas Senate Democratic challenger Beto O’Rourke lying about his DUI arrest to DNC chair Keith Ellison being accused of domestic violence, the following is a list of Democratic controversies that the nets are keeping their audiences (for the most part) in the dark about:
During Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation, the left grew more brazen and would openly proclaim their radical beliefs and tout such tactics. With calls for the abandonment of civility and the apparent encouragement of violence, one would think it deserved some form of critical airtime from the media. But since the broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) were in the tank for the Democrats, they didn’t think it was newsworthy Wednesday evening.
In the midst of the Kavanaugh show trial with the Senate Judiciary Committee back on September 27, longtime Democratic staffer Jackson Cosko released personal information (including the home addresses) for Republican members of the committee. This act of “doxxing” went all but ignored by the liberal media for almost two weeks. On Tuesday, a judge denied him bail and the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) continued their total blackout.
During a panel discussion on Thursday’s Special Report, Fox News anchor Bret Baier was amazed that the same network news organizations that hyped anonymous claims Donald Trump knew in advance about the 2016 Trump Tower meeting between campaign aides and a Russian lawyer refused to correct the record when it was revealed on Wednesday that such claims were completely false.
In a whiny tweet Tuesday afternoon, CNN Senior White House Correspondent Jeff Zeleny complained about President Trump not taking questions from the White House Press Corps as he left for a campaign rally in Florida, even making this completely false claim: “It marks at least a week that he’s gone without answering questions about his Tweets or anything else in the news.”
On Wednesday afternoon, the White House took the step of banning CNN White House reporter Kaitlan Collins from a Rose Garden announcement about tariffs following what the Trump administration believed were inappropriate questions shouted by Collins hours earlier about Michael Cohen and Vladimir Putin to the President. In reacting to this move, however, CNN’s Situation Room host Wolf Blitzer falsely decried the move as “unprecedented” and behavior fitting for “some totalitarian regime.” Really.
