Facebook fact-checker PolitiFact played the role of the village idiot by fact-checking an Instagram post that dared to slam the Biden White House for redefining the word “recession.”

Politico, like the rest of the leftist media, has franticly attempted to assist the Biden administration's quest to rewrite the definition of recession. So much so that they're now gaslighting their readers into believing that even if tomorrow's GDP report shows the second quarter was negative, the report is inaccurate.

On Wednesday afternoon's The Lead on CNN, anchor Jake Tapper had a random act of journalism when interviewing Cecilia Rouse the chairwoman of the Council of Economic Advisers on the topic of the astronomical inflation numbers that the Biden administration has unleashed on American consumers over the past year and a half he's been in office. 

Like the Democrat Party propagandists that they are, the three evening news networks came out swinging in defense of Joe Biden’s preposterous excuses for Wednesday’s disastrous inflation numbers which saw prices skyrocket 9.1 percent over the past year. 

Insufferable NeverTrumper Bill Kristol should know by now that putting dumb inflation hot takes on Twitter minutes before devastating economic news is released doesn’t return dividends.

CNN attempted to fool Americans into believing the reason the U.S. economy isn’t officially considered in a recession is because eight “white economists” didn’t say so yet. Confusingly, CNN also wrote that if leading economists do end up eventually declaring the U.S. to be in recession, it’s also because those economists aren’t racially sensitive.

Clinton stooge Robert Reich has just as much of a sordid record in his coverage on the inflation crisis as leftist economist Paul Krugman.
