On Friday’s Morning Joe, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough slammed Democrats for attempting a last-minute smear of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, pointing to the nasty attack as the reason “why a lot of people just don’t get involved in public service.” He warned liberal lawmakers pushing the vague allegations that they were “only hurting their cause.”

Whether you believe that Pope Francis is pushing a liberal agenda in the Catholic Church or not, the liberal media does, and it’s clear that they will do their best to defend him from criticism. Thursday’s USA Today article deflected earnest criticisms of the pope by painting him as an innocent victim, suffering a clerical abuse scandal pushed by critics hoping to oust him.

Almost ten months after bombshell accusations that ex-CBS This Morning co-host Charlie Rose allegedly sexually harassed and abused women, co-host Norah O’Donnell lamented how “hard” it was to have “my boss,” departing CEO Les Moonves, be accused of sexual assault. After a full report opened the show, O’Donnell began her personal remarks with self pity: “This is hard for everybody as CBS News.” 

On Monday Meet The Press host Chuck Todd challenged the media in a piece for The Atlantic to embrace what most of them are already embracing and in effect become part of the "resistance"  by urging them to "stop complaining---and start fighting back." On Friday’s Today show, NBC News acknowledged allegations from former investigative producer Rich McHugh that the network tried to kill reporting from McHugh and fellow journalist Ronan Farrow exposing the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault scandal. However, the vast majority of the paltry one-minute-eight-second report, 43 seconds (63%), focused on NBC’s denial of the claim.

On Tuesday, NBC’s Today show devoted a full report to hand wringing over Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, while serving as one of Independent Counsel Ken Starr’s lead investigators in the 1990s, wanting to ask then-President Bill Clinton accurate, detailed questions about the Monica Lewinsky scandal. The supposed “journalists” were aghast at the prospect of Clinton being held accountable.

The network that, for years, employed alleged sexual harassers Charlie Rose and CEO Les Moonves decided to lecture Americans on Friday about “doing the right thing when nobody is watching.” CBS This Morning co-host and Obama donor Gayle King was particularly sanctimonious, despite the fact that she once complained about having to cover the allegations against “my friend” Rose. 

Early Friday, NewsBusters reported that CNN spent only one minute of airtime on the recanting of a former Ohio State University wrestler’s allegations against Ohio Republican Congressman Jim Jordan. After reviewing coverage of the original NBC article which leveled the claims against Jordan, NewsBusters found that there was a massive discrepancy in reporting.

On Thursday afternoon, the Daily Caller reported that a former Ohio State University wrestler recanted his statement regarding Rep. Jim Jordan.
