On Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough says, regarding the coronavirus, that "everybody saw this coming in early January." Yet on Scarborough's own Morning Joe, on March 10th, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio repeatedly downplayed the threat of the virus. On today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough, criticizing President Trump, said:

The liberal media seem to be ignoring coverage of communist China’s role in mishandling the coronavirus pandemic. But the media will sometimes praise China as a “global leader.” Prominent Twitter conservative personality, SpectatorUSA contributor, former Fox News contributor and podcast host Stephen L. The reporter began his nasty line of questioning by accusing the President of spreading “false hope” – until Trump shut him down.

Surely Jon Meacham knows that when people resort to "some of my best friends are" whatever, they are losing the argument. After President Trump took time during Thursday’s coronavirus press conference to criticize the blatantly biased media coverage of his administration’s response to the global pandemic, Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd anchored an NBC News special report and decried how “the President’s own personal grievances seemed to dominate” the briefing.

On Tuesday, ABC’s White House correspondent Jon Karl attempted to scold President Trump for having “lashed out” at Democrats who were politicizing coronavirus. Trump shut down the line of questioning by pointing out he has to “respond” since liberal politicians “have the media on their side.”

On Joy Reid's MSNBC show, leftist guest Eric Boehlert called Fox News a "cancer on this country" that has been "getting people killed for years." Reid quoted to Boehlert from a Washington Post column that suggested that Rupert Murdoch should force Fox News to "tell the truth" about coronavirus, and also use his influence with President Trump on the matter.

On Friday, MSNBC was eager to exploit the coronavirus to bash cable competitor Fox News, accusing the rival network of spreading “misinformation” about the disease and even endangering the lives of its viewers. The discussion took place on the same show that labeled the virus President Trump’s “Chernobyl” on Thursday.

The liberal Hispanic media´s penchant for headlining anonymous, secondhand news to intimidate viewers through trepidation, is alive and well at Univision. Case in point: a report quoting a dubious New York Times article about Operation Palladium, the joint effort between ICE and the Department of Homeland Security, aimed at monitoring undocumented immigrants in sanctuary cities.
