President Donald Trump reportedly asked why the U.S. is “having all these people from sh*thole countries come here.” I think he could have used better language, but it's a question that should be asked and answered. And, as they bashed the president for not saying more, they themselves left out key details.

Appearing on ABC’s Good Morning America Wednesday morning to review President Trump’s State of the Union address, Chief Political Analyst Matthew Dowd worried that he “didn’t get any sense there was any room for compromise” in the speech and even proclaimed that the nation was as divided today as it was during the Civil War.

To match their vicious pre-State of the Union address coverage, ABC lost its mind following President Trump’s first such address, slinging mud at the President for delivering a “divisive,” “gloomy,” and “sad speech” that did nothing to “unify” the country and instead “stok[ed]...racial tensions.”

Well, that didn’t take long.
