At another Democratic Party gathering over the weekend, former Vice President Joe Biden had another slip of the tongue and possibly revealing his 2020 candidacy, saying he had “the most progressive record for anybody running [for president]." Of course, the liberals at ABC and NBC got excited and hyped it up during their Sunday morning news broadcasts.

On Friday evening, the NBC Nightly News caught up with CNN in highlighting a couple of teenage environmental activists who are promoting an alarmist agenda against global warming while encouraging students to skip school to pressure adults into taking action on the issue. The CBS Evening News also gave the protests a 17-second brief.

Near the end of Friday's New Day on CNN, the show devoted three minutes to a piece by Bill Weir in which the CNN correspondent hyped a one-person weekly protest by a teenage global warming activist in New York outside the United Nations headquarters.

On Thursday and Friday, CBS This Morning and NBC’s Today show celebrated left-wing student activists around the world preparing to walk out of their classrooms to “demand action on climate change.” The CBS report took a particularly dark turn as correspondent Tony Dokoupil warned of “a future that might not even exist” for the young protesters.

Apparently the fawning media coverage of Beto O’Rourke’s first day on the 2020 campaign trail was even too much for liberal Late Night host Seth Meyers. On his Thursday night show, aired early Friday morning, the NBC comedian actually took MSNBC to task for bizarrely obsessing over O’Rourke’s rental minivan while reporting on the former Texas Congressman making a campaign stop in Iowa.
