After some uncertainty Tuesday morning, it appears the ceasefire between Israel and Iran is holding, which means that there were plenty of previously recorded anti-Trump hot takes from the late night comedy shows on Sunday and Monday that aged rather poorly.

In a grotesque close to Sunday’s CBS Weekend News, anchor Jericka Duncan delivered a summary of the history between the United States and Iran that began in 1953 and ended in 1980. In essence, Duncan told half the story. Unfortunately, it was the mullahs’ half.

Media reaction to news of the U.S. bombing of critical Iranian nuclear sites was mixed at best, as evidenced by initial Saturday night coverage. Below is a compendium of some of those reactions, which ranged from plain goofy to outright awful. 

The media are trying to collect themselves in the immediate aftermath of Operation Midnight Hammer- the U.S. mission to destroy critical Iranian nuclear facilities at Natanz, Esfahan and Fordow.
