On her MSNBC show this morning, Joy Reid, speaking with failed presidential candidate Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, noted that the rates of coronavirus infections and deaths are disproportionately high among African-Americans. Replying, Gillibrand blamed it on "institutional racism," in both health care and our economy.

MSNBC host Ali Velshi once again used the current pandemic to urge the U.S. to adopt single payer health care on Saturday. Unfortunately, for Velshi and his guests, their critiques of the current system and their praises of single payer turned out to be less than accurate. His co-worker in socialism education was Mehdi Hasan of the far-left Intercept website. 

On her 9:00 a.m. ET hour show on Friday, MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle kept up her network’s effort to actually blame competitor Fox News for the spread of coronavirus across the country. She and her guests repeatedly suggested that Fox was providing “misinformation” that would “put people’s lives in danger.”

Author and journalist Katherine Stewart joined MSNBC Live host Ayman Mohyeldin on Friday to reprise an argument she made last week in the New York Times that the real bad guys of the coronavirus pandemic currently that is impacting the entire world are members of "the religious right."  

During a contentious interview with Florida Senator Marco Rubio on Friday morning, MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle grilled the Republican lawmaker on his criticism of media outlets pushing Chinese propaganda about the coronavirus pandemic. Rubio pushed back hard and doubled down on his condemnation of journalists parroting talking points from China’s authoritarian communist regime.

In an on-air response to an article attacking him and the network, Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson flipped the tables on The New York Times Thursday night when he called out the liberal paper for “screwing up coronavirus stories from day one.” And he also rubbed their nose in their ridiculous China and virus articles dating back to January.

Their entire premise was a lie. According to ABC World News Tonight anchor David Muir, President Trump was trying to keep Americans who found themselves suddenly unemployed during the coronavirus crisis from getting health insurance. Moments later, congressional correspondent Mary Bruce, who backed up the assertion, proved they were lying to their viewers.

Since Tuesday, liberal journalists on CNN and MSNBC have been teaming up with elected Democrats to shoot down the notion that their collective obsession with impeaching President Trump slowed the federal government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. The biased coverage argued the “talking point” was “dangerous” and predicted that it would not “pick up much traction.”

On Morning Joe, Axios.com CEO Jim VandeHei denounced the "news pollution" of President Trump, Fox News, and Rush Limbaugh. He says we have a societal problem of "information inequality," and that the governors of Florida and Georgia delayed issuing lockdown orders because they were living inside an "information bubble."
