On Tuesday, it didn’t take long for the liberal media to move from learning about what happened at the deadly school shooting in Florida and the victims to lobbying for gun control. Ghoulishly, CNN law enforcement analyst Phil Mudd, MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews, and MSNBC’s The 11th Hour host Brian Williams chose to condemn America as an exceptional country due to its gun policies. 

In the midst of World News Tonight coverage of the tragic school shooting at a Parkland, Florida high school Wednesday, ABC Senior White House Correspondent Cecilia Vega took a political swipe at President Trump over his position on gun control and his refusal to push it.

Here we go again, America. Another act of evil committed at a school and another case of liberals immediately demanding discussions of gun control. Moments into CNN’s live coverage, former Obama administration official and national security analyst Juliette Kayyem and host Brooke Baldwin demanded a “discussion about guns” despite having minimal details about what transpired.

As bad as the establishment press's coverage of national stories is, the situation with bias, ignorance, and sloppiness seen at local and regional news outlets may be worse. Here's an example from Monday: A story at St. Louis TV station KSDK about "crimes involving stolen guns" was headlined "More legal guns used in St. Louis area crimes."

ABC’s Scandal has wasted little time in pushing a liberal agenda for its last season, but this latest episode admittedly is a change of pace. Instead of pushing diverse liberal heroes or peddling government handouts, the episode jumps straight into conservative-bashing. Gun owners beware, Scandal does not care for you.
