On Sunday, all churches in the Catholic Diocese of Arlington were asked to read a letter from Bishop Michael Burbidge urging the Catholic faithful to turn out and vote No on two state constitutional amendments in the midterm elections -- one on a "fundamental right" to abortion, and other ending a "ban" on same-sex marriage. The New York Times unfurled a 5,000-word near-hagiographic obituary for feminist Gloria Steinem, who died Wednesday, under the headline: "Gloria Steinem, Personification of the Women’s Movement, Dies at 92 -- She challenged sexist assumptions, helping women develop a sense of self-worth and gain a measure of equality at work, at home and in society at large."

Left-wing terrorism is a serious problem in the United States, though for political reasons it doesn’t receive anything like the attention right-wing violence gets. When most people think of violence connected to abortion, they imagine attacks on abortion clinics — yet lately, pro-abortion extremists have been firebombing crisis pregnancy centers across the country.

On August 10, Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey signed a bill allowing abortion at any point in pregnancy. Abortion advocates call it “closing the gaps” in “abortion rights protections.” Abortion foes call it “abortion until birth,” making it legal to dismember fully formed babies. The “mainstream” media called it nothing. You couldn’t find that story on ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, or NPR.

HBO’s John Oliver spent much of Sunday’s Last Week Tonight freaking out over the idea that a fetus is a person. Oliver never managed to debunk the idea, but he did launch several personal attacks against pro-lifers while also providing several supposed horror stories about the ramifications of fetal personhood, while omitting any useful context.

It's absolutely amazing sometimes to ponder how leftist celebrities think they are the smartest people in the room, and no one on their side seems to correct them when they step in a puddle of stupid -- like Chelsea Handler complaining Todd Blanche was going to overturn Roe vs. Wade. Derp! 

The Elitist Media continue to struggle to report the story of Baby Gabriel, whose very first act of defiance was to be born despite the wishes of his biological parents- thanks to his courageous surrogate mother. NBC took a shot at the story but ended up with the wrong heroes.

A surrogate mother fought tooth and nail to save the baby she was carrying from abortion due to a dangerous but treatable medical condition. The Elitist Media mostly whiffed on the story, and the outlet that did cast pro-lifers in a weird frame.

In yet another instance of anti-capitalists whining about capitalism while benefitting from it, the second season of Netflix’s critically acclaimed dramedy Beef, created by Lee Sung Jin, offers a familiar sermon about the evils of wealth and inequality, even as its characters chase the very prosperity, stability and family life that capitalism makes possible.

While the abortion movement continues to mask what they truly support behind shiny words like “choice,” one pro-life organization, Faces of Choice, has been hard at work bringing the reality of abortion to the world.
