On Wednesday, NBC’s Today devoted nearly three minutes to promoting some “never before-seen” photos of the Kennedy family while giving a mere 18 seconds to Governor Bobby Jindal’s presidential announcement, burying it in a story on the new U.S. policy on hostage negotiations.

After an uproar, the Associated Press backed down and removed a photo of a gun pointed at the head of Senator Ted Cruz. In a statement to Breitbart, AP Vice President and Director of Media Relations Paul Colford conceded, "Five of the photos show Mr. Cruz with images of a pistol pointing at his head and upon consideration we have decided to remove those photos from further licensing through AP…

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal’s expected jump into the 2016 GOP presidential nomination race is bound to be met by skepticism, if not an outright dismissal, by the liberal media if their reaction to his 2009 State of the Union response and his advocacy of fiscally and conservative views is any guide. Some in the media have even stooped to make an issue of his Indian-American heritage.

A flummoxed Chris Matthews last night flatly declared, insisted, really, that there was absolutely "nothing" that Hillary Clinton had to hide in her emails and hence there really is nothing untoward that she did hide by conducting her email correspondence as Secretary of State on her own privately-owned-and-controlled email server.  If anything, what Hillary's probably hiding is merely "…

If one thing can be counted on since Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) announced his presidential campaign, it’s that the nation’s top Spanish-language networks will give more coverage to the pro-amnesty protesters stalking the Senator’s campaign and interrupting his speeches than to the substance of what is happening and what Rubio is actually saying at those events. 

On Tuesday, the Washington Post promoted an article touting how  "many" supposedly view Bobby Jindal as "a man who has spent a lifetime distancing himself from his Indian roots" by Tweeting a professor's eyebrow-raising claim about the Louisiana governor: "There's not much Indian left in Bobby Jindal." In Wednesday's newspaper, that quote served as the big headline on page A-9.

A jubilant Chris Matthews hailed Pope Francis's recent comments suggesting that Christians who make a living by manufacturing or selling weapons are hypocrites. Of course back in 2009, Matthews blasted a Catholic bishop for daring to insist that Catholic politicians need to put the teachings of the Church on human life above their fealty to the abortion rights lobby.

The New York Times wasted no time politicizing the massacre by white supremacist Dylann Roof at a black church in Charleston, S.C. Already writers for the paper have soared beyond the tragic facts of the case to sharpen the issue into a political weapon, indicting Republican attempts to protect voting integrity through voter ID, even comparing opposition to an Obama-care proposal to slavery.

Just days after a horrific shooting that took nine lives, the AP has the gall to unapologetically display a gun aimed at the head of a presidential candidate. They would never do this to Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. Nor should they. This was not an accident and the AP owes Sen. Cruz, his wife and children, an immediate and unqualified apology.

In the wake of last week's Charleston shooting, Good Morning America's Jon Karl on Monday spun the Confederate flag as a problem for the 2016 Republicans. No mention was made of Bill Clinton, the spouse of a 2016 Democratic candidate, and his past honoring of the Confederacy.
