While the families of five murdered Dallas police officers were still reeling after the attack from a racist sniper, the front page headline of that embarrassing publication compared police officers to the ruthless Chinese government responsible for the Tiananmen Square massacre. 

“Hand’s up, don’t shoot” is back and still false. With the latest string of protests following the police killings of Alton Sterling (Baton Rouge) and Philando Castile (Minnesota), the “Hands up, don’t shoot” chant is back. Hollywood, CBS, ABC, and NBC have once again failed to give context to the chant in their coverage.

NFL Hall of Famer and former Dallas Cowboy Troy Aikman took to Twitter on Friday to express support for the Police, in the aftermath of the Dallas shootings. And because of that tweet, Aikman, found himself in the crosshairs of the Huffington Post.

Most celebrities and media personalities condemned the Dallas police shooting for the heinous act of violence that it was. However, not everyone’s initial reaction was to offer up prayers and condolences for those involved.

What could be better than a new Star Trek movie? Its first openly gay character, of course! The internet has been exploding with the news that USS Enterprise helmsman Hikaru Sulu will be portrayed as gay in the upcoming film Star Trek Beyond. Sulu will appear briefly in a scene with his “husband.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, “the two have a daughter together.” 

Editor’s Note: Normal people might find some of this offensive. (We hope.) Sex discrimination, anti-semitism, transgender cyborgs, money for nothing and a dress you wouldn’t want to touch with a 10-foot-long pair of scissors. That’s the best of, or worst of, a week in the left-wing press. It’s pressing or just depressing.
