The networks treat Republican hearings as Fake News. They refuse to act like publicity organs for the party they despise. By contrast, they all adored the Pelosi-Picked Panel on January 6, since that had no actual Republican opposition on it, just two Pelosi-pandering Republicans.
On Wednesday, the Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing on protecting women and girls in women’s sports. For most of it, there was not a single Democrat Senator in the room.
Only two Democrats briefly showed up -- ranking member Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn. Both of them left within the first hour of the hearing and Klobuchar never spoke. The Democrats also did not provide a single witness for the hearing. So you can guess how much network coverage this drew? ZERO on ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS.
PBS did find time to tell Americans "in China, a 6-year-old girl has set a new women's record for solving Rubik's Cubes."
Sen. Durbin felt it necessary to uncork the usual propaganda – the leftist Trevor Project perpetually suggesting that any opposition to their agenda inspires youth suicide:

DURBIN: Research from the Trevor Project found that quote, “LGBTQ+ young people are too often placed at higher risk of suicide, not because of who they are but as a result of mistreatment and stigmatization. This committee should not participate in that marginalization of any children in this country. For that reason, I refuse to treat this hearing like a responsible exercise of this committee. I will not ask questions. The minority did not call any witnesses.
There you have it -- the media's orders to stand down and ignore any and all opposition to the LGBTQ hard line -- even as polls show more than 70 percent of Americans oppose males participating in women's sports.
One of the women who testified -- Kim Jones, a co-founder of the group Independent Council on Women's Sports -- told Salem talk show host Larry O'Connor that they can't get Democrats to meet with them. Jones complained that they’re a nonpartisan group that includes some Democrats, but they still can't get meetings. “They will not listen to their constituents, will not listen to the American public, and won’t talk to us with facts and logic.”

At the hearing, Sen. Ashley Moody (R-Fla.) lamented: "The reason why it is going now from one Republican senator to another Republican senator is because there’s not one Democratic senator here to ask those that are actually involved as females in female sports about the dangers and missed opportunities and challenges for what’s been happening across our nation for our young women and girls."
