Via Nickarama at Weasel Zippers, we learned that USA Today was dead-serious when they issued a "non-endorsement" of Donald Trump before the election. For Thanksgiving, the newspaper's official Twitter account put out a tweet that photoshopped the head of the President-elect onto the turkey being pardoned by President Obama:
In the story that was tweeted, USA Today added:

But the tweet remains live at this posting time, so their standards of taste are still in question. Imagine how liberal media outlets would have treated a conservative-leaning media outlet if they'd put Obama's head on a turkey...
Let's hope USA Today doesn't plan on editorializing in favor of more civility and common decency in our political discourse.
