Another NY Times EMBARRASSMENT: Editor’s Anti-Semitic, Racist Tweets Exposed

August 22nd, 2019 12:27 PM

It’s not been a good week for the New York Times. The beleaguered newspaper on Thursday suffered another embarrassment as one of the paper’s editors was exposed for tweeting vile, anti-Semitic, racist attacks on Jews and Indians. As reported by Breitbart and Twitchy, Tom Wright-Piersanti, the senior staff editor at the Times has a history of hateful remarks.

The editor has been quickly deleting old tweets, including this one from 2010 in which he admits to being an anti-Semite:

The same New York Times that employs  Wright-Piersanti condemned “the bloody history of modern anti-Semitism” on Thursday in an op-ed. Perhaps the paper should look within and deal with its own problems.

Wright-Piersanti also offered bizarre, hateful attacks on other groups. Here's an example:

Breitbart reported

Over the course of a three-year period he sent out several more tweets about Indian people. On Dec. 16, 2009, he tweeted: “Mohawked Indian Guess employee to @snitkin: ‘Yo, you like these watches? I sell ‘em under the table, if you know what I mean.’”

...

On Dec. 4, 2008, he tweeted: “Want to see dozens of Indian girls grind all over each other? Go to the Golden Rail Pub in New Brunswick, New Jersey.”

Wright-Piersanti on Thursday deleted his old tweets and apologized.

In 2018, the Times dealt with another racial controversy after hiring Sarah Jeong to their editorial board. She’s the same person who tweeted racists attacks on the “joy” she got about being “cruel to old white men.” In another tweet, she raged at “dumbass fucking white people” and mused over “canceling” them.

Last week, top Times editor Dean Baquet endured the leaking of a staff meeting in which he fought with even farther-left staffers on the issues of Donald Trump and racism.
