Liberal Dying Husk Time Magazine to Slash Circulation

Time magazine executives on Wednesday announced plans to slash circulation of the liberal dinosaur. According to USA Today, the magazine “will have its weekly circulation reduced by one-third, to two million copies.”

Writer Kevin McCoy explained of Time inc (which also includes other publications), “Revenue for the quarter that ended June 30 fell $75 million, or 10%, to $694 million compared with the same period last year, the company reported. The drop reflected declines in advertising and circulation revenues.”

Yet, the magazine will continue to continue to publish 44 issues a year. So, the decrease will apparently just make the publication harder to get. In other words, don't go looking for Time at the grocery store any longer.

Time has a long, long history of providing the typical liberal spin. For instance, here’s the magazine on Soviet Communism:

“Inefficient as the old communist economy was, it did provide jobs of a sort for everybody and a steady, if meager, supply of basic goods at low, subsidized prices; Soviet citizens for more than 70 years were conditioned to expect that from their government. Says a Moscow worker: ‘We had everything during [Leonid] Brezhnev’s times. There was sausage in the stores. We could buy vodka. Things were normal.’”
— Time Associate Editor George J. Church, September 23, 1991.

When Time made Barack Obama “person of the year” in 2008, he was “Obi-Wan Kenobi" from Star Wars. When Trump got the same designation, he was a “demagogue.”
