Donald Trump Blasts ‘Fake News’ CNN, Spars With Reporter

January 11th, 2017 12:42 PM

Donald Trump on Wednesday blasted CNN as "fake news" and hit the cable network for repeating and promoting unverified information out of BuzzFeed on Russia. During a press conference heavily dominated by BuzzFeed’s sketchy claims about the President-elect, CNN reporter Jim Acosta attempted to shout out a question: “Since you are attacking our news organization —"

Trump shut him down: “Not you. Your organization is terrible.” Acosta whined, “You are attacking our news organization. Can you give us a chance to ask a question?”

He continued shouting: “Mr. President elect, can you give us a question?  You are attacking us!”

Trump zinged, “Don’t be rude. No, I’m not going to give you a question. You are fake news.”

The Media Research Center’s Brent Bozell denounced BuzzFeed for their unverified reporting.
