WashPost Journo Laments Biden Being Blamed For 'Bidenomics' Failure

There is no more oddly fascinating Sunday morning ritual than watching members of the Acela Media go on TV to weigh in on the fortunes of their fellow Americans that they know little to nothing about. And, as is often the case during tough times, the truest, purest victims of whatever woe has befallen their fellow Americans are none other than the Democrats in power.

Watch as Leigh Ann Caldwell of The Washington Post offers her reasoned analysis of the varied messaging failures of “Bidenomics”, as aired on NBC’s Meet The Press on Sunday, November 26th, 2023:

LEIGH ANN CALDWELL: Yeah. Bidenomics has really been kind of a negative-- become a negative word especially among Democrats ‘cause it's not working. I was texting with some members of- Democratic members of Congress last night just trying to get a read over the holiday weekend, what they're hearing at home and what people are saying and these members said that it is just not looking good for President Biden politically out there- that he would probably lose some swing states if, if the election were held today. So they have a lot of work to do to once again, like I said, try to get…get credit for the successes that he’s had over the past two years, which he keeps on getting blamed for everything bad that’s happening.

NBC’s graphics team outdid themselves here, too. “Biden’s economic messaging faces challenges in 2024” is top-shelf spin, given what Americans have been shown to think about Biden’s handling of the economy. Such a chyron is only accurate if by “challenges” they mean “rejection”.

The exasperation while sighing out “it’s not working” is palpable. A year out, and the Acela Media are already in “protect the Precious” mode over these Biden-negative poll data.

What is even more Acela Media is Caldwell’s recognition that Democrat members of Congress have “a lot of work to do”...not to advance the People’s business or anything, but to make sure to get credit for Biden’s “successes”. Again, the Ruling Class are the truest, purest victims of the woes that have befallen the Biden administration. Only in this light does such a statement within such segment make sense. But to Americans enduring the brunt of "Bidenomics", such statements make no sense at all.
