Ghoulish CNN Exploits Herman Cain's Death to Attack Trump

On Friday morning’s New Day, CNN co-host Alisyn Camerota and guest host Jim Sciutto brought on New York Times White House correspondent Maggie Haberman to take ghoulish shots at President Trump over the death of former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain due to coronavirus. Proving that nothing is sacred to the partisan hacks at CNN, Camerota nastily asked if there is “any feeling inside the White House of responsibility, of guilt, of connection” to the death, since Cain attended Trump’s Tulsa rally last month.

Camerota began the nauseating discussion by trying to blame Trump for Cain’s death:

I'm just wondering what happened in the White House, knowing that Herman Cain went to that Tulsa rally, okay, the Tulsa rally that the medical experts in Tulsa did not want the President to hold because they knew it would be dangerous. He went as a healthy, 74-year-old man. He was not sick. He was not positive for coronavirus that day. Then a month later, he is dead. Is there any feeling inside the White House of responsibility, of guilt, of connection to this?

Leave it to the Democratic shills at CNN to politicize death in order to attack Trump. It’s also obnoxious that Camerota attacked the Tulsa rally because even Scuitto admitted earlier in the segment that there is no evidence that Cain contracted coronavirus at the rally.

Haberman then jumped into the disgusting partisan effort to exploit the tragedy:

This is not how the -- this is not how the White House is handling it. In fact, you've seen the President say not that long ago, I think it was a few days ago, that he's known several friends who passed away from COVID and one who was -- was close to the end. I -- I have to assume he was talking about Herman Cain. The White House continues to have a very blindered view of all of this. They do not look at actions they have taken as having an impact on people getting sick, whether that's the Tulsa rally, whether it's a lack of sufficient testing across the country, whether it is the lack of a national plan to combat this. And this incident with Herman Cain, which is obviously tragic, is no different.

Haberman only cares about using the death of Cain to attack Trump and make Democrats look good. She, after all, was exposed by WikiLeaks in 2016 for colluding with the Hillary Clinton campaign. In fact, in one email, a member of the campaign praised her for pushing pro-Clinton narratives: “We have has [sic] a very good relationship with Maggie Haberman of Politico over the last year. We have had her tee up stories for us before and have never been disappointed.” Haberman is no doubt still upset that her candidate lost, which is why she has continued her partisan assaults on Trump.

CNN has become so sick and twisted in its desire to bash Trump and help the Democrats that it will even use the death of one of Trump’s close friends to attack the President.

This morbid Democratic propaganda was brought to viewers by Sandals Hotels and Resorts. You can fight back by letting advertisers know what you think of them sponsoring such content.

ALISYN CAMEROTA: Maggie, one more note on the Herman Cain thing, because it was -- it was such a gut punch, actually, yesterday to -- to hear the news that -- I mean, ever since I heard that he was sick, of course, knowing his demographic, I worried that it would end horribly, tragically. Then when it did, I was -- I'm just wondering what happened in the White House, knowing that Herman Cain went to that Tulsa rally, okay, the Tulsa rally that the medical experts in Tulsa did not want the President to hold because they knew it would be dangerous. JIM SCIUTTO: Yeah.

CAMEROTA: --of guilt, of connection to this?
