Editor’s Pick: RedState Toasts to MSNBC Host Losing His Mind Over Being Fact-Checked

Bob Hoge with our friends at RedState had a hilarious piece Tuesday pulling together the latest saga and kid-in-a-grocery-store meltdown MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan pitched last week after he was roundly condemned and fact-checked for one insane claim after another about crime and, of course, racism.

At the heart of it, Hoge noted that Hasan has objected Twitter’s Community Notes feature, which allows users to fact-check false claims, seeing more play under Elon Musk’s ownership and he was “getting awfully sick of” it. This was particularly ironic since he recently released a book entitled Win Every Argument: The Art of Debating, Persuading, and Public Speaking.

Here was the monologue about crime and race that was roundly condemned and fact-checked:

Hoge summarized Hasan’s response to being disagreed with as proof the leftist pundit “as not pleased that people didn’t take his MSNBC/Democrat Party talking points as gospel and lashed out, saying it was all a MAGA plot.”

It got even better as Hasan’s hissy fit was then fact-checked.

All gloating aside, Hoge noted inner city crime is a serious topic at least a hefty dose of the left seems hellbent on excusing:

For every high-profile grisly murder that makes the front page of the New York Post, there are 15 other shootings on almost any given weekend in Chicago—and many of them involve young black men as both victims and perpetrators. The FBI statistics that Community Notes referenced above are a sobering reminder of this fact.
