Daily Show Slimes Scott as a 'Milk Dud-Looking Mother******'

Leslie Jones kicked off her second stint as temp host of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show on Monday by attacking Sen. Tim Scott as a “Milk Dud-looking mother[bleep]” as he ended his presidential campaign.

After playing a clip of Scott on Fox claiming that voters were telling him “not now, Tim,” Jones fired her salvo of insults, “Not now? Not now? No. ‘Not now’ is what you say when a telemarketer calls you during the dinner time. This was more like ‘We ain't going to ever, ever, ever, ever, ever vote for you [bleep]-ed up ass anti-abortion, anti-gay, Milk Dud-looking mother[bleep]!’"

Beyond the string of insults and profanity pretending to be jokes, one can certainly have a discussion on why Scott’s campaign did not succeed, but the idea that Republicans passed on him because he is “anti-abortion” and “anti-gay” is simply inaccurate.  No wonder Jones once thought the Electoral College was a literal school.

Jones’s poor political analysis is one thing, but no conservative would ever be able to get away with saying a black liberal looked like Milk Duds.

As it was, Jones also took the opportunity to take shots at Scott’s romantic life, “But what's really surprising about this is we finally got to meet Tim Scott's mystery girlfriend. He brought her out on stage and then a week later, he drops out. And you know she was only dating him because she thought he was going to be the president. I bet you he's now like ‘Well, I fell short, but at least we've got each other, baby. Baby? Where did you go, baby?’"

One could ask the same thing about The Daily Show’s jokes.

Here is a transcript for the November 13 show:
