Kimmel and Gospel Choir Use Election Day To Blast SCOTUS, Walker

November 9th, 2022 11:19 AM

With the results of the midterm election still unknown, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel was forced to recycle some of his standard material during his live Tuesday show. With the help of a Gospel choir called “The Silver Lining Singers,” Kimmel blasted the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision and attacked Herschel Walker as “really dumb.”

After Monday’s show where his wife Molly sounded a literal alarm and urged people to vote for Democrats based on abortion, Kimmel lamented that, “Women's reproductive rights are under attack; 13 states have banned abortion with a dozen more on the horizon.”

The choir then sang, “More unwanted children, the Supreme Court is to blame, we hope they always have a screaming baby on their plane.”

Speeding straight past the ghoulishness of telling children they are unwanted, Kimmel turned to Georgia’s Senate race, “You know what, while we're on that subject, despite pretending to be a pro-life candidate who it turns out has a number of children he didn't raise and plenty of evidence that he paid for two abortions, Herschel Walker still has a very good chance to be the new U.S. senator from Georgia.”

Doing their best Oprah impersonations, the singers belted out another tune, “Well if you want to have a kid with a guy that's really dumb well just say hello to Herschel, he'll impregnate anyone! You get a baby, you get a baby, you get a baby, you get a baby, we all get a Herschel baby.”

Maybe one day Kimmel will use his comedy show to do comedy instead of abortion promotion, but Monday and Tuesday were not those days.

This segment was sponsored by Clorox.
