This year’s ‘LGBT March for Unity’ gave Univision another opportunity to identify itself fully with the LGBT agenda, and pummel President Trump and Vice President Pence at the same time.
As if there were no controversy about the LGBT lobby’s agenda for the country, including among considerable numbers of its own audience, Univision’s coverage of the annual conclave included no voices of opposition to the marchers’ agenda, which just goes to show how on certain topics closely tied to the Left’s domestic political correctness regime, Univision remains a ‘dissent-free’ zone.
ARANTXA LOIZAGA, NEWS ANCHOR, UNIVISION: Pro- LGBT community activist groups protested some of the policies of the Trump administration that put at risk the advances that have been accomplished, or that are in play, such as letting transgender students use the bathroom of the gender they identify with.
The brief report also completely omitted dissension within the ranks of the LGBT community itself, as the march in Washington, D.C., highlighted by Univision, was also disrupted by activists from the even more radical No Justice No Pride organization, which wants the LGBT movement to “end its complicity with systems of oppression that further marginalize queer and trans individuals.”
Meanwhile, as usual, Univision’s cameras didn’t miss the chance to especially focus on and highlight the many plentiful, colorful anti-Trump signs at the event.

ARANTXA LOIZAGA, NEWS ANCHOR, UNIVISION: Thousands of people participated today in the nation march for unity and gay pride in 100 cities around the country. In Washington the main event was the March for Equality and against discrimination, in which pro- LGBT community activist groups protested some of the policies of the Trump administration that put at risk the advances that have been accomplished, or that are in play, such as letting transgender students use the bathroom of the gender they identify with.
