Hillary Clinton Calls for MORE Big Tech Censorship

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton suggested that she wants more censorship from Big Tech giants like Facebook.

In an interview with The View, Clinton blamed Facebook and Former President Donald Trump for the “constitutional crisis” of the Jan. 6 riot. She joined President Joe Biden and other liberals in calling for more censorship of so-called misinformation online.

"[It] gives me absolutely no satisfaction in saying this, because I think we're at a very dangerous, continuing, high-level attack on the legitimacy of our government and the election of our president," she said, going on to blame Trump.

"Obviously, our former president is not only behind it, he incited it, he encouraged it, and he continues to do so," she argued. Clinton said that "democracy is at stake" because of alleged "disinformation" on the Internet.

She specifically targeted Facebook as being largely responsible for the alleged “disinformation” circulating online, and suggested that removing such “disinformation” was critical to the survival of American democracy.

"When you combine [claims of election fraud] with disinformation from Facebook, you've got a volatile mix. We're still in the midst of a concerted, well-funded effort to undermine American democracy," she added.

Earlier in the year, The Wall Street Journal slammed Facebook for reportedly flawed practices that can “cause harm.”

“Facebook Inc. knows, in acute detail, that its platforms are riddled with flaws that cause harm, often in ways only the company fully understands,” The Journal said in its investigation report.

“Time and again, the documents show, Facebook’s researchers have identified the platform’s ill effects,” The Journal continued. “Time and again, despite congressional hearings, its own pledges and numerous media exposés, the company didn’t fix them. The documents offer perhaps the clearest picture thus far of how broadly Facebook’s problems are known inside the company, up to the chief executive himself.”

The investigation reached several conclusions, one significant one included a finding that Instagram is reportedly “toxic” to teenage girls. Other conclusions discovered Facebook’s involvement in combating so-called COVID-19 “misinformation” and pressuring users to get vaccinated.
