One America News Network launched its own social media platform on July 4.
“Tired of social media giants chipping away at your most basic & important right to freedom of speech?” the network tweeted. “Good news! One America News Network is proud to announce that we have just launched a brand new social media platform -- http://freetalk45.com! Join today!”
OANN is popular among conservatives and received praise from former President Trump while he was in office.
FreeTalk aims to be a platform that is censorship-free, taking on BigTech social media companies like Twitter and Facebook, which have a history of shadow banning conservatives.
“The next generation of social networking and community!” the platform’s sign-up page reads. “No shadow banning or censorship—just freedom of expression, pure and simple. Sign up today!”
