Illinois Gov. Pritzker Says Pro-Abortion Democrats Have 'Kept People Safe'

During a livestream with the Washington Post, Governor J.B. Pritzker (D-Ill.) called the Supreme Court's decision to overturn of Roe V. Wade a “50-year endeavor by the right-wing to take away women’s rights.”

Pritzker boasted when saying that Illinois knew “an artrosis opinion” was on its way ever since former President Donald Trump was in office.

Ah, yes. Everything the left disagrees with in the world is somehow still Trump’s fault. Got it.

This live stream was honestly hard to sit through - especially when the host, WaPo Associate Editor Jonathan Capehart, somehow weaved in that overturning Roe v. Wade could “invalidate” his own same-sex marriage.

Anyways, back to the elephant in the room: Pritz…I mean, er, abortion.

Pritzker went on to explain that Illinois is “an island” that feels very isolated, as it’s surrounded by abortion-“restricted” states (how sad to be stuck between people who think murdering babies is a crime).

The governor was sure to let viewers know that Illinois has been and will continue to be a place allow women to come in to “exercise their rights” to kill their infants, pointing out that so far around 10,000 women a year come to Illinois to abort their babies. Pritzker said he expects that number to triple as a result of overturning Roe.

Pritzker added that when it comes to the upcoming election in November, “Every candidate on the Republican side wants to take away a women’s right to choose," adding that some “even believe that women should be forced to take a baby to term even in the case of rape or incest.”

Hey, at least Pritzker admitted that the child in question is, in fact, a baby.

He then went so far as to assert that “[i]t’s Democrats that have kept people safe and healthy when Republicans like Donald Trump were working against all of those things.”

Yes, sir. These damn Republicans trying to save babies.

How dare they.
