In the wake of the San Bernardino mass shooting by Islamic terrorists last week, President Obama called for more punitive measures on Americans who want to buy guns instead of addressing specific measures against Muslims adhering to a radical ideology.
In a speech from the White House Sunday night, the President declared access to guns a matter of “national security.”
Well, actor James Woods, an outspoken conservative, was having none of that. Taking to Twitter, he responded to Obama’s comments by announcing he had joined the NRA as a small rebellion against the President’s “gleeful degradation of constitutional sanctity.”
I just joined the @NRA. I don't even own a rifle, but I'm just sick to death of #Obama's gleeful degradation of constitutional sanctity.

Woods went on to compare President Obama’s gun-grabbing comments to how the American public responded – by buying more guns.
Regardless your position, this statistic is accurate and verified. #gun #2A pic.twitter.com/7PFOuseGie

Andrea Tantaros of Fox News’ Outnumbered agreed with Woods’ sentiment, saying the President had essentially “flipped the bird” at the 2nd Amendment with his comments on gun control.
Obama did more than just wag his finger at the constitution. He extended a very specific finger & flipped it at the First & Second Amend.
