Hollywood Leftists Join Frontlines of Raucous Police Brutality Protests

The Hollywood left is so serious about protesting police that some of them are putting their bodies on the line to do so.

To combat “racism” and “police brutality” famous faces like supermodel Emily Ratajkowski, actress Anna Kendrick, MJ’s daughter Paris Jackson, singer Halsey and others joined raucous L.A. protests that broke out in the wake of George Floyd’s death at the hands of police officer Derek Chauvin.

From the scene described by Halsey, it seemed that the singer had found herself in a less-than-peaceful protest situation, where rubber bullets and tear gas were fired on the crowds from policemen. In pictures published by TheDailyMail, Halsey is shown with her singer boyfriend “YungBlud” at the event.

In a tweet from May 30, the “Without Me” singer clarified that she had not been arrested with other protesters but that she was “gassed” and “shot” with rubber bullets. She wrote, “I WAS NOT ARRESTED. I’m safe. There were [people] I had to get to safety as many of them have VISAs.” She added that “Myself + many of my peers were shot, gassed + antagonized. The frontline was calm + did not provoke.”

Though riots in L.A. have been so bad that city mayor Eric Garcetti has imposed a curfew and has asked California Governor Gavin Newsome to send in “500 to 700” National Guard troops to assist police. Police and lefty lawmakers seem tense for a reason.

Halsey concluded her tweet by encouraging folks to donate bail money for protestors who had been arrested in the riots. “DONATE TO BAIL ORGS!!! I AM CURRENTLY.” Halsey’s tweet joined those of several other celebrities like Steve Carell and Justin Timberlake who have pledged their support to getting arrested rioters out of jail.

Supermodel Emily Ratajkowski, who had been arrested along with Amy Schumer for protesting Brett Kavanaugh’s SCOTUS nomination in 2018, was at the L.A. protests as well. According to photos posted to her Instagram, the diehard Bernie supporter attended the rallies wielding a sign that claimed, “Dismantle power structures of oppression.” Though anyone who pays attention to Hollywood lefties knows that this is socialist speak promoting the destruction of American law and order.

Ratajkowski captioned her photos, writing, “DISMANTLE POWER STRUCTURES OF OPPRESSION #defundthepolice #justiceforgeorgefloyd #blacklivesmatter.”

Actress Anna Kendrick was seen in a social media photo attending protests in California, as was Michael Jackson’s daughter, model Paris Jackson. Other famous entertainers like singer Billie Eilish had their own version of protests from social media.

Eilish used Instagram to slam white privilege, telling her followers, “Society gives you privilege just for being white...You can be poor, you can be struggling. And still your skin color is giving you more privilege than you even realize … You are privileged!!” Eilish also asked, “If all lives matter why are black people killed for just being black?” Though really, Billie, you can’t possibly know if that’s true or not.
