Hamill Goes to the Dark Side, Says Trump More Evil Than Darth Vader

Here’s a forced example of stupid for you.. Then again, if you’ve been following Mark Hamill’s Twitter page you’ve probably had enough stupid to fit an entire Jedi tome. The insufferable lefty actor behind legendary Star Wars hero Luke Skywalker just declared that the second most evil baddie in the galaxy, Darth Vader, is actually less evil than Donald Trump.

On Tuesday, Hamill offered up some real bizarre political views at the expense of some of the world’s most beloved pop culture references. Like the fact that Trump is a worse villain than the child-murdering, wife-choking, warlord Darth Vader. In a Washington Post podcast, Hamill stated, “Listen, I really get upset then when people compare [Trump] or even Dick Cheney to Darth Vader because Darth Vader repented.”

“He saw the error of his ways. I don’t see either one of them doing that,” the 67-year-old actor mused.

This kind of cheap shot lefty commentary is common for Hamill, who spends much of his time as a loud Twitter presence, crying foul over every single thing proposed by Trump and the GOP. One month ago, Hamill garnered some buzz on the social media site by criticizing ICE’s usage of tear gas against the migrant caravan.

In a satirical tweet, Hamill posted both a photo of a tear gas canister and the now infamous photo of caravan mother and children running away from the border chaos. He captioned the photos with a Trump quote: “NEW: TRUMP TEAR GAS FOR TODDLERS!!! ‘1st of all, the tear gas is a very minor form of the tear gas itself- It's very safe. The ones that were suffering, to a certain extent, were the ones putting it out there. But it's very safe!’- DJT”

In other news, Star Wars fans have only one year left to see Hamill try and pull off the impossible and become Luke Skywalker again for Episode IX. Although considering the amount of lefty Mark Hamill tweets we’ll have seen by that time, it might be altogether impossible to take the character seriously anymore.
