The mainstream media’s propaganda to keep taxpayer funded abortion in ObamaCare has begun.

But the article ABC posted yesterday entitled, “Immigrants lured to cheap, do-it-yourself abortion,” was 1) totally misleading; 2) misplaced blame; 3) seriously mashed terms; and 4) led with a fraudulent sob story.

ABC reporter Susan Donaldson James wrote a truly shoddy piece and should be ashamed of herself, although I’m sure she’s not. About numbers 1, 3, and 4, from the article:

Even though I as a pro-life blogger know I battle on the right side of history, on a day-to-day basis I sometimes don't feel like a victor. The fight seems so uphill, with money, political power, and MSM all against us.

shirley sherrod.jpgSo the following July 21 Politico story about what bloggers on the Left think of us was enlightening. Every time I get a peek into the other side's view of us I realize once again that they're paper tigers.

Also of note is the Left's view that Obama has clipped his agenda thanks to us, when we think his actions thus far demonstrate he is the most liberally radical president ever.

The piece's impetus is the Shirley Sherrod debacle....

But this week's forced resignation of a previously obscure Agriculture Dept. employee is just the latest example of Obama officials reacting to a cable news-driven obsession of the right.

It not only infuriates Obama's liberal base, which feels like the episodes just reinforce the power of the right to push a damaging story into the mainstream press....

Read backstories here, here, and here.

In my last post I said Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust would soon upload video of retired and off-duty rent-a-cops posing as on-duty cops at the Jimmy Kimmel stunt shoot, when cameramen turned their spotlights on a teen pro-life protester.

Following are a couple.

In this 1st video Troy Newman of Operation Rescue realizes the pretense and calls the posers on it. They sheepishly do not deny Newman's claim....

This week comedian Ragan Fox ventured into the abortion-for-laughs arena.

Fox is a "gay poet and performance artist," according to Wikipedia, most well known for his Sirius Radio podcast, Fox and the City. CBS announced on June 30 that Fox will soon do a stint on its reality show, Big Brother 12.

WiredUpdate.com described Fox's most recent podcast (Warning: PG-13):

Today we are going to highlight even more disturbing "jokes" that Ragan has written and performed within the same podcast....

Ragan begins by saying he adores singer/songwriter Courtney Love and he's excited for the release of her new album. He then takes the conversation to a dark place while joking about abortions and battered women.

In the clip Ragan says he can imagine Courtney performing an "inappropriate song about feminism" that involves performing a live abortion on stage....

Read backstory here. Huffington Post and FishbowlLA have also now picked up on this.

kimmel fanning.jpg

I ended my post yesterday with the Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust staging a protest in front of comedian Jimmy Kimmel's home yesterday morning.

They followed that with a protest at Kimmel's studio on Hollywood Blvd in LA yesterday afternoon.

I should mention the Survivors have been holding their annual pro-life boot camp since June 21 (ended today), so these protests have all numbered nearly 100 kids.

So while the Survivors were protesting late yesterday afternoon there was an announcement that free tickets were still available for last night's Kimmel show taping, which was incidentally outdoors.

Four Survivors each snagged one. They decided to disperse themselves throughout the audience, wait 20 minutes after taping had commenced, and then begin raising a ruckus, imploring Kimmel to stand up for free speech and condemn the actions of his lighting crew....

The youth pro-life activist group Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust is picketing comedian Jimmy Kimmel's Los Angeles home as I type (read to end) and will be picketing his studio on Hollywood Boulevard later today.

The group is demanding an apology, and here's why.

On June 25 the Survivors were holding a Face the Truth pro-life picket in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd.

A Kimmel crew showed up to film a stunt across the street from the Survivors....

Allen Troupe graffiti.JPG

Somewhere between 7 p.m. on June 14 and 7 p.m. on June 15, vandals spray painted graffiti, as seen on the top right photo, on the home of Dubuque, Iowa pro-lifer Allen Troupe.

They were most likely incited by a sign in one of the windows of Troupe's home, as seen on the bottom right photo.

Click both photos to enlarge.

Troupe filed a police report and anticipated the same level of fair and balanced media coverage one would expect were pro-life graffiti to appear on the home of an abortion proponent - i.e., lots.

But not only did the local paper, the Dubuque Telegraph Herald, fail to post a story, it failed to even mention the police report in its daily police blotter. Editorial staff either considered the incident too slight or too unhelpful to their pro-abortion bias.

So Troupe emailed DTH editor Brian Cooper. Following was Cooper's response....

Actor and environmental activisit Pierce Brosnan has taken the cause of whales to heart. He does not want humans to kill them, period.

www.SaveTheWhalesNow.org has just released a PSA featuring Brosnan, taking President Obama to task for apparently reneging on a campaign promise to support an International whaling moratorium...

Larry King interviewed pop singing sensation Lady Gaga on June 1, and she appeared conflicted over the presence of children in wombs. Near the beginning of the interview came this exchange...

King: At what age growing up, Gaga, did you know that you wanted to be a performer?

Gaga: In the womb, Larry, in my mother's warm womb.

King: [Laughing] At your birth.

Gaga: Yes, at my birth. I guess that you could say it's been my destiny to be a performer....

Getting technical, because that's what we pro-lifers do, Gaga did not originally say her personality, talents, and drive magically appeared "at birth," as King translated. She said they were present prenatally. See exchange beginning at 2:34 on this clip (WARNING: PG-13, visually)...

While the headline of this post is shocking, it will come as no surprise to those of us who know how strongly Obama supports abortion - to the point of infanticide.

Apparently China's reprehensible one-child policy - with its forced abortion, forced sterilization, female feticide, and female infanticide - comes nowhere close to AZ's human rights violations of attempting to enforce federal illegal immigration laws.

From the Associated Press, May 14:

The United States and China reported no major breakthroughs Friday after only their 2nd round of talks about human rights since 2002.

The Obama administration wants to push Beijing to treat its citizens better, but it also needs Chinese support on Iranian and North Korean nuclear standoffs, climate change and other difficult issues...

Michael Posner, the assistant secretary of state... said... officials also discussed Chinese complaints about problems with U.S. human rights, which have included crime, poverty, homelessness and racial discrimination.

He said U.S. officials did not whitewash the American record and in fact raised on its own a new immigration law in AZ that requires police to ask about a person's immigration status if there is suspicion the person is in the country illegally....

On the May 9 episode of the VH1 "What Chilli Wants," reality show, TLC hip hop girl group member Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas opened up about her abortion.

In the video (below the fold) Chilli described aborting at age 20, about 1991, for sadly common reasons, because she "didn't have the support" and "was so scared."

This was also at the beginning of her musical career, she said, and she didn't know how she could do both it and motherhood.

So Chilli opted to "not have it" (couldn't say "abortion"), which turned out to be "one of the biggest mistakes," because she "didn't want to do that."

Then Chilli began to describe what abortion proponents say doesn't exist, post traumatic stress syndrome as a result of her abortion. "It messed me up," she said, "I don't know, it broke my spirit."

vaginal ultrasound

On May 3 an Oklahoma judge delayed enactment of a new law mandating that mothers get ultrasounds before abortions for 45 days.

Oklahoma's ultrasound law goes farther than others. According to the Associated Press:

The law requires doctors to use a vaginal probe, which provides a clearer picture of the fetus than a regular ultrasound, and to describe the fetus in detail, including its dimensions, whether arms, legs and internal organs are visible and whether there is cardiac activity.

That is just not true, obviously skewed to bias readers away from supporting the law.

angie jackson on video.png

By the time I wrote "Live Tweeting Abortion, Part X" as well as two WorldNetDaily.com columns (here and here), I was sicker of Angie Jackson than anyone, and I know many of you were plenty sick of her. I felt personally responsible for giving Angie 5 of her 15 minutes of fame.

There were still a few who kept tabs on Angie after that, even though I stopped. They let me know when she tweeted on March 13 that she locks her 4-year-old in his bedroom and on March 23 that she is still married to one guy (the father of her born child) while shacking up with another (the father of her aborted child).

Messed up, but we knew that.

Now, though, Angie's tweets warrant one more post.

Ray Gosling, euthanasia.jpgHere we see a classic case of an aging newscaster feeling delusions of grandeur. This guy grew to think he was a media god and untouchable.

Wrong. Hope the ratings were worth it.

According to the Examiner, February 17:

Veteran BBC broadcast journalist Ray Gosling was arrested today after admitting on his show that he killed his gay lover. The 70-year-old confessed to smothering his former lover, who was dying of AIDS, in a shocking newscast.

During a taping of the 30-minute BBC show Inside Out, Gosling related to the show's television audience about the terrible pain that killing his partner had caused him.

Kristie Moore, Olympics.jpg
The 2nd line of this Yahoo story is the kicker:
As with all curling teams, Team Canada features five members. Well, six, if you really want to get technical with it.

Alternate Kristie Moore, 30, is 5½ months pregnant, making her just the 3rd athlete known to be with child during Olympic competition.

On February 12 Pew Research compared what MSM spent its time on last week vs the blogosphere. The differences were stark. We report and discuss 2 different worlds...

Reported Pew (graphics below page break):

Social media took on a host of controversial issues last week, from abortion to gay rights to health care reform. The online community gave the hot-button topics not only more attention than the mainstream press, but also much more opinionated intensity.

The most discussed subject on blogs was an anti-abortion television commercial featuring college football star Tim Tebow. Specifically, bloggers linked to the Feb. 2 Washington Post column by sportswriter Sally Jenkins, who is admittedly pro-choice, but who voiced support for Tebow and opposition to a number of women's groups who had been critical of his political stance.
