The liberal media greeted President Trump’s 100-day mark Tuesday with a torrent of negative coverage, so it was no surprise when CBS used both of its evening news shows — CBS Evening News and CBS Evening News Plus — to nearly go wall-to-wall in spewing disgust at the Trump administration, almost trying to conjure up a recession and economic ruin.

A Media Research Center analysis of the ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts shows the new Trump administration has faced a withering 92% negative coverage, even worse than the relentlessly hostile coverage Trump faced in early 2017.

As Elon Musk starts to contemplate wrapping up DOGE’s mission to identify wasteful spending in the federal government and return to Tesla on a more full-time basis, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel had a suggestion. On Tuesday, he brought back an old STD bit and suggested to Musk that he sell the company to “someone more likeable, like chlamydia or AIDS.”

CBS News, the makers of such hits as “DOGE will make you catch Ebola” and “DOGE will get you eaten by bears” have just submitted a new entry into the DOGE-fear mongering genre: DOGE will cause air pollution in underserved communities. Cute, for sure, but there is a Stacey Abrams-sized hole in their reporting on DOGE-cut EPA grants.

For its daily Eye on America human-interest feature, the CBS Evening News ran a report on the use of food banks by individuals formerly considered to be “high-income”. The report’s content leaves viewers to reasonably wonder why CBS never ran such items over the prior 4 years.
