The Elitist Media are still irate about the Supreme Court’s opinion in Louisiana v. Callais, which narrowed the scope of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. And some in the media are willing to facilitate some of the most egregious rhetoric against the Court, even if it leads to further violence.

On her eponymous Monday show, MS NOW host Chris Jansing presided over a discussion on South Carolina redistricting in which her Democrat guests claimed blacks are being "disenfranchised" there and that white Americans refuse to vote for blacks because of "racism." It was not mentioned at all in the 11-minute segment that one of the state's two U.S. Senators -- Tim Scott -- is black.

Ever since the U.S. Supreme Court decision to knock out a section of the Voting Right's Act, which also effected redistricting efforts in many states, the left, including the main stream media, has been crying racism, and that continued last Saturday, at a rally held in Montgomery, Alabama. It all led to a sometimes heated discussion on race, Monday on Fox News's The Five.

On Sunday, CNN’s State of the Union  featured a discussion with Democratic Congressman James Clyburn of South Carolina concerning The Supreme Courts latest decision against using race in redistricting. The conversation quickly turned to comparisons between the Supreme Court’s decision on the Voting Rights Act and Jim Crow-era policies.

On CBS News Sunday Morning, CBS chief Washington analyst Robert Costa presented a story with comparisons of the recent Supreme Court’s Callais v. Louisiana decision to the civil rights movement, and predicted the Court, led by Justice John Roberts, would be remembered for its decisions on “race-conscious” policies.

In a stunning segment on Saturday's edition of MS NOW’s The Weekend, Rep. Joe Morelle (D-NY) unleashed an unhinged attack on the Supreme Court and its recent Voting Rights Act decision — comparing it to the Taney Court’s infamous Dred Scott ruling and declaring the Roberts Court “one of the most racist courts in American history.”

The late night comedy shows’ desire to trash the Supreme Court for its recent ruling that paved the way for the elimination of mandated majority-minority districts continued on NBC’s Saturday Night Live when Weekend Update co-anchor Michael Che compared the decision to the days of the Civil Rights Movement when protestors were attacked with firehoses.
