The panel on CNN's At This Hour With Kate Bolduan, besides former Rubio presidential campaign communications director Alex Conant, bashed the Republican proposal to replace Obamacare. One of the panelists called for government intervention in healthcare, unaware the law which the GOP seeks to repeal and replace already does so.

On CNN's New Day Thursday, co-host Alisyn Camerota interviewed Wisconsin Republican Representative Sean Duffy about the developing news that Attorney General Jeff Sessions interacted with the Russians during the Trump presidential campaign, depsite then-Senator Sessions testifying during his confirmation hearing that although he served as a campaign "surrogate," he "did not have any communications with the Russians." Camerota pressed the Tea Party congressman about whether the Attorney General should recuse himself or resign and cited a tweet from a Democratic senator as "the best resource" to criticize Sessions.

During her 12 p.m. ET hour MSNBC show on Tuesday, host Andrea Mitchell interrupted her panel of guests to go to live coverage of House Democratic Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi ranting about the resignation of National Security Adviser Michael Flynn at a press conference. In her comments, the left-wing lawmaker cited a fake Twitter account purporting to be Flynn.

CNN has rained fire on Donald Trump's tweets for being extremely unfair. But on Tuesday night, CNN host Jake Tapper asked Nancy Pelosi her take on the brand-new Neil Gorsuch nomination to the Supreme Court, and she made a wild overstatement: “If you breathe air, drink water, eat food, take medicine, or in any other way interact with the courts, this is a very bad decision.” Wouldn’t it seem natural to ask Pelosi how precisely it is that Gorsuch opposes air, water, food, and medicine? But Tapper must moved along to the process question of how the Democratic Party should handle the pick.

Wednesday's CBS This Morning turned to liberal attorney David Boies for his take on President Trump's nomination of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. However, the newscast failed to provide balance by bringing on a conservative legal expert. Boies twice asserted that Gorsuch was "not in...the mainstream of judicial thought." Anchor Norah O'Donnell later gushed over the "so smart" guest.

Congressman Luis Gutierrez, a Democrat representing areas of Chicago, appeared as a guest on Thursday's New Day on CNN to discuss President Donald Trump's criticism of Chicago's leadership for the rising crime situation in the city. CNN host Alisyn Camerota failed to push back as her liberal guest began ranting that the National Rifle Association was partly to blame for increased homicides in his city.

On her 12 p.m. ET hour MSNBC show on Thursday, anchor Andrea Mitchell didn’t bat an eye as her guest, Democratic Congressman Elijah Cummings, hurled the wild unsubstantiated allegation that Republicans had denied “millions” of Americans the right to vote.

In back-to-back interviews on NBC’s Today and CBS This Morning on Friday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer was largely treated to softball questions that allowed him to advance the Democratic Party’s strategy to obstruct President-elect Donald Trump’s agenda.

Congressman John Lewis’s infamous interview with NBC’s Chuck Todd, smearing the president-elect as illegitimate, was the first segment aired on Meet the Press on Sunday. What’s apparent from the video is that not only did Lewis stick to his accusation, but Todd failed to push back at all. At one point he asked the congressman, “You're a man of action. You have been your whole life. You believe this president is not legitimate. What would you tell young folks, young activists to do?”

On Friday's New Day, CNN's Alisyn Camerota and David Gregory hammered General Michael Flynn after Donald Trump selected him to be his national security advisor. Gregory asserted that Flynn demonstrated "short-sighted, ignorant thinking" and apparently, "jump[ed] the shark into...Islamophobia" over his controversial remarks about Islam. Camerota played up a "fake news" post from Flynn on Twitter, and contended that "there's a gullibility...that is troubling" with the Tweet. Guest Jason Johnson bluntly labeled the general's conduct "dangerous," and accused him of "violent rhetoric."

On Friday's New Day on CNN, during a segment focused on the major presidential candidates both accusing each other of "bigotry," host Chris Cuomo failed to challenge Rep. Hakeem Jeffries when the New York Democrat claimed that GOP candidate Donald Trump "time and time again," has "sort of outsourced parts of his campaign to white supremacist groups."

During Sunday morning's MSNBC live coverage of the passing of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, host Ari Melber and correspondent Irin Carmon waded into going negative against the conservative justice as the two brought up those who viewed him as "cold" toward people who have been "historically oppressed" in spite of his pleasant personality.
