The legacy media’s ongoing coverage of the current government shutdown continues to maintain a Democrat frame, to the point of ridiculousness. Case in point, Kristen Welker’s interview of Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on NBC’s Meet the Depressed.

CNN’s Jake Tapper had on the seven-time Mr.Olympia and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to discuss partisan gerrymandering, among other topics, and got an earful when he tried to justify California’s gerrymandering referendum known as Prop 50. Tapper got a near-total recitation of Democrat partisan gerrymandering efforts in a way not normally seen on cable TV.

In a segment on President Trump's ballroom project on MSNBC's The Weekend, co-host Eugene Daniels called the Founding Fathers "nightmarish" on some policies, citing slavery. But Daniels acknowledged that the Founders got it right in creating a White House that was relatively small, the goal being to distinguish it from the palaces of royalty.
