When Hollywood feminists campaign in elections, it often backfires spectacularly. In their efforts to spite Trump and the GOP, actresses campaigned for someone who used to dress in blackface.
The announcement of Donald Trump’s oval office address regarding the crisis at the southern border has set the entire media machine on a tailspin of hatred and outrage. Trump refuses to back down on strong border policy, and progressives refuse to act sane. The worst examples include Hollywood stars on Twitter, who are screaming to high heaven about how wrong and “fucked up” this all is.
Democrats have readied themselves to take their majority in Congress, and their biggest Hollywood fans have started celebrating as if it was their Christmas and New Year’s all rolled into one.
It’s midterm season on mainstream television, so if talking politics is a must for your mid-morning routine, switch the channel over to Ellen. Lately, all her lefty friends have been making appearances to plug for the Democrat ticket. Viewers who tuned in on Thursday received a real treat. The always-unhinged progressive femmebot Chelsea Handler hit the famous off-white couches to talk about the impending apocalypse should Dems lose power during the midterm elections.
Although Hollywood’s political donors’ demographics and strategies are shifting, their direction — left — certainly isn’t. The Hollywood Reporter published an in-depth look at how liberal Hollywood’s “GOP loathing” has them more involved than ever this year, even as the makeup of Tinseltown’s political givers shifts from a cadre of liberal, old, white men, to a younger and more racial diverse crowd of liberals. One source told THR this year’s Hollywood spending will “blow away” previous midterms.
Liberal journalists lost their collective minds during the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation process as they filled their programs with dire predictions for the “millions of women” that will be “annihilated.” Lefty celebrities also went nuts. Actress Molly Ringwald condemned the GOP as the “Rape Party.” The following are the most recent examples of liberal journalists and celebrities going crazy over the Kavanaugh confirmation.
The confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh was a major political loss for the left-wing mob. As expected, all sorts of wailing and gnashing of teeth ensued, especially from Hollywood liberals who have apparently made it their life’s calling to engage in the hysteria. Many of them took to social media to vent their frustration, and their status updates were extreme to say the least.
Upon reports of a second sexual assault allegation against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, progressives on Twitter opened fire on the potential SCOTUS nominee on Monday with a barrage of slime. John Cusack had a field day with the Kavanaugh news, tweeting several slanderous statements against Republicans for their support of the judge.
The left has taken over yet another entertainment medium and made it their own.
Comedienne Chelsea Handler is defending Al Franken against sexual allegations by saying, “Me too.” On Sunday, Profile by BuzzFeed News published an interview between host Audie Cornish and Handler. During their time together, Handler staunchly defended former Minnesota senator Al Franken against sexual misconduct accusations because “he’s a comedian,” and, well, she has groped people too.
What’s the best way to look like a raging hypocrite? Well there are plenty of options. A good one might be to openly applaud vandalism against a celebrity’s Walk of Fame star, and then turn around and preach the lefty gospel of peace, love, tolerance. Several big celebrity names took to Twitter to express their glee over the fact that Donald Trump’s Hollywood star had been destroyed by some vengeful lefty freedom fighter.
Best way to celebrate Independence Day in the #resistance, is to apologize to the world for this awful thing called the Trump administration. Comedian turned activist Chelsea Handler did that on Twitter on the 4th of July, addressing every other country. The unhinged entertainer tweeted, “To every country on the 4th of July. We’re sorry about our president. He doesn’t reflect all of our views -- and we hope you know that the majority of us are ashamed. We will rally each other and come back to the world one step at a time. #novemberiscoming #alsosorryabouthotdogs.”
