December 6th, 2013 11:38 AM
Fox News media analyst Howard Kurtz came down strongly on MSNBC's Chris Matthews Friday for the Hardball host's sycophantic interview with President Obama the previous day.
In an article published at FoxNews.com, Kurtz wrote, "It was as though Matthews was channeling Jay Carney...Maybe he was getting a reprise of the famous thrill up the leg.":

December 5th, 2013 11:23 PM
The New York Times could only devote 53 words in the Business section on Thursday to Martin Bashir resigning from MSNBC, but swooned over Barack Obama’s latest list of book purchases in a story headlined “In Obama’s Book List, Glimpses of His Journey.”
Reporter Peter Baker explained “A reading list offers a rare window into the presidential mind, a peek at what a commander in chief may be…

December 5th, 2013 7:46 PM
Chris Matthews received his long-desired wish on Thursday, an exclusive interview with Barack Obama. The Hardball anchor didn't exactly live up to the title of his show, wondering about Republican efforts to "make it difficult for minorities to vote" and questioning who was better, Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden?
Talking to the President at American University, Matthews read a question from a…

Jeremy Scahill, the national security correspondent for the far-left Nation magazine, made quite an indictment Thursday about the Obama administration and the state of journalism today.

December 5th, 2013 4:41 PM
All three broadcast networks have, thus far, ignored the special treatment given to Onyango Obama, Barack Obama's illegal uncle who was arrested in 2011 on drunk driving. In contrast, however, the Spanish language channel Univision on Wednesday covered the story with a skeptical take about possible "favoritism."
Onyango Obama will be allowed to stay in the country after a Boston judge…

A Washington, D.C. childrens ballet troupe was given the boot last night and this evening thanks in no small part to President Obama and the folks at MSNBC.

Politico: Obamacare Causing Americans to Lose Their Doctors Is a 'New
December 5th, 2013 6:44 AM
Seung Min Kim and Jennifer Haberkorn at the Politico have apparently been living in hermetically sealed Beltway caves since early October.
In an item which appeared Tuesday evening, the pair acted as if the idea that Americans stand a great chance of losing access to their current doctors and other medical providers as a result of signing up for a health care plan through the Obamacare…
Walter E. Williams Column: Of Black Voters and Obama
December 4th, 2013 6:45 PM
In a March 2008 column, I criticized pundits' concerns about whether America was ready for Barack Obama, suggesting that the more important issue was whether black people could afford Obama. I proposed that we look at it in the context of a historical tidbit.
In 1947, Jackie Robinson, after signing a contract with the Brooklyn Dodgers organization, broke the color barrier in Major League…

It's becoming quite clear that the Obama administration's treatment of the press, along with revelations of deceit associated with promises about the Affordable Care Act, are causing some members of the media to think differently about this White House than they did in the first term.
On Wednesday, National Journal's Ron Fournier told talk radio's Laura Ingraham, "[T]his is a propaganda…

Scarborough Mocks Chris Matthews' Shrinking Schedule
December 4th, 2013 8:26 AM
Call it a case of interview envy--in the context of an ongoing feud between two MSNBC hosts.
There has been bad blood between Joe Scarborough and Chris Matthews for years, as here, here and here. On today's Morning Joe, Scarborough took the occasion of Chris Matthews' impending interview of President Obama to mock the way Matthews' on-air schedule has shrunk. In a particularly low blow,…
