Democrat Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.) defends her comments advocating political persecution by claiming she’s only being criticized for them because she’s a woman – but, Constitutional scholar and conservative commentator Mark Levin disagrees.
“Well, according to her party, we cannot definitively define woman,” Levin wrote on X.com, reacting to video of Sen. Slotkin’s claim:
“That said, she’s truly an unintelligent opportunist with no moral grounding, flailing in a desperate attempt to find a lane to the Democrat Party presidential nomination. She will say and do anything in search of headlines, and when she blurts out stupid things she’s a victim, of course, when we notice and respond to her imbecility.”
After being exposed for saying that - once Democrats have enough power - she wants to use the threat of prosecution to intimidate young Americans who might want to support or work for the Trump Administration, Sen. Slotkin went on MS Now to claim victimhood and call the Second Amendment “crap” in the process:
“I do think there’s something about being a woman and criticizing them and calling them out on that corruption that really gets under their skin, obviously, or they wouldn’t respond, you know, ‘Remember the Second Amendment, sweetheart?’ or all that crap.”

The Democrat went on to concede that her threats were directed to people “on the receiving end” of the Trump Administration who might be engaged in what she considers illegal activity – such as restoring the Reflecting Pool or renovating the White House’s dilapidated East Wing:
“But, I think it’s more that it’s not speaking to them, it’s speaking to the people who are potentially going to be asked to follow illegal requests. Right? It’s speaking directly to the people who are on the receiving end of this administration.”
“Why are Trump and his allies attacking me?” Sen. Slotkin asked in an X.com post Monday, prompting Levin to reply by noting the Stalinist nature of her threats to young conservatives:
“For starters, because you are publicly echoing Stalin and threatening people with prosecution and imprisonment for exercising their constitutional rights if you and your party take control of our government?
“How the hell did you get elected? Or qualify for a desk job at the CIA?”
Thus, if Sen. Slotkin’s intentions are, indeed, Stalinist and are being criticized only because she’s a woman as she claims, then the Democrat is suggesting that Stalinist tactics are acceptable.
On Tuesday, Levin agreed with the following post by former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli calling for Sen. Slotkin to resign:
“The level of dictatorial immorality here is stunning.
“@SenatorSlotkin, you should not be near a single lever of power. Resign now.”
