On Wednesday, Today co-host Savannah Guthrie repeatedly badgered Kentucky Senator Rand Paul over his views on foreign policy following his presidential announcement. Things got so heated during the discussion that Paul had to tell Guthrie “before we go through a litany of things you say I’ve changed on, why don't you ask me a question.” 

Two days after Christians celebrated Easter, NBC trotted out the claim that the tomb and burial site of Christ has been found. The segment only included one brief clip of a skeptic. Instead, journalist Katy Tur, reporting live from Jerusalem, excitedly explained, "...A journalist and a geologist said they have new evidence that this right here, underneath this concrete slab is Jesus's tomb."

On Wednesday, the Department of Justice announced it would not be seeking contempt charges against Lois Lerner for refusing to testify to Congress on the IRS targeting scandal. The Big Three (ABC, CBS, NBC) networks, so far, have refused to report on this big development in the Obama IRS scandal that they apparently just don’t want to talk about any more.  

In a stark departure from the usual routine, the networks on Wednesday night and Thursday morning repeatedly identified scandal-plagued Senator Robert Menendez as a Democrat, mentioning his affiliation nine times in just six stories. During NBC’s coverage of Indiana and Arkansas’s religious freedom bills on Thursday morning, Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd did his best to tie the potential 2016 Republican presidential candidates to the ongoing religious freedom debate. 

All three networks on Wednesday rushed to defend Trevor Noah, the newly announced Daily Show host who has been attacked for making anti-Jewish, anti-Israel comments. ABC's Good Morning America avoided quoting the tweets. Instead, George Stephanopoulos summarized that Noah is "in the hot seat within online critics saying some of his tweets are sexist and anti-Semitic." 

On Wednesday morning, the “Big Three” (ABC, CBS, and NBC) networks implemented a new tactic in its effort to smear Indiana’s religious freedom law by hyping a similar law that just made its way through the Arkansas legislature and its opposition from the CEO of Walmart.
