Thanks to the outsized role that “the media” — that’s the news media, entertainment media, and social media — play in our national discourse, the vacuous and vulgar pronouncements of left-wing celebrities are widely promoted as if they were actually important contributions to the political dialogue.

Appearing as a guest with MSNBC host Jose Diaz Balart to promote his book, MSNBC analystJonathan Alter declared that Donald Trump is "evil" and a "sick F" as he hoped that his book, Day of Reckoning, would convince some voters not to vote for the former President.

You can tell Donald Trump is winning and Kamala Harris is losing when Washington Post columnists like Eugene Robinson are lashing out at the liberal media, like they have failed to cover Donald Trump viciously enough! They are somehow rougher on Kamala! 

Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) joined a chorus of leftist voices begging Big Tech to censor more aggressively, hearkening back to the days of even more aggressive content moderation. 

On Morning Joe, reacting to Trump having called America a "garbage can for the world," Joe Scarborough breaks out a variation on America, love it or leave it. He says: "If anybody believes that America is a garbage can, that's voting this election, they're just stupid. They just don't know the facts. They may want to move somewhere else if they think it's such a hellhole."

According to The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg, former President Donald Trump was dismayed at the cost of the funeral of Army Private Vanessa Guillen, a child of Mexican immigrants who was brutally murdered at Fort Hood in 2020. Remember the quaint old days (think 2010) when MSNBC hosts were suspended for a few days for donating to politicians? This kind of policy has never applied to activist Rev. Al Sharpton. The Hill reports Sharpton is touring Michigan on Thursday to get out the vote for Harris....four days after his MSNBC interview with Harris. 

ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel recently joined MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough for an interview that aired on the Wednesday edition of Morning Joe. Throughout the two-part interview, Scarborough and Kimmel would discuss the latter’s career and their mutual loathing of Donald Trump, with Kimmel going so far as to say, “If you're a reasonable person, you should have Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

Of course, we all know the media aren’t lobbying for Musk to be locked away because they care so deeply about election integrity. For them, this isn’t about election integrity at all; it’s about Trump. Musk is aiding the media’s most hated enemy, and for that, they want to destroy him.

Joe Scarborough consistently claims to be a conservative, and on today's Morning Joe even described himself as a follower of Russell Kirk, author of The Conservative Mind. Calling her a "real conservative," Scarborough lavishly praised Liz Cheney for endorsing Kamala Harris. The question arises: if Liz Cheney had somehow won the Republican nomination, would Scarborough be supporting her today…

On Morning Joe, Jon Meacham says that in their hearts, traditional Republicans know that their support of Trump is wrong. Meacham also says that, looking to Washington's Farewell Address for guidance on the central thesis of the American Republic, people can ignore the central role that Washington placed on religion.

Vice President Kamala Harris’s big media week featured friendly visits as well as a couple of rough spots. However, the Democrat nominee was assured a super-soft landing this week by sitting down with race arsonist-turned MSNBC host Al Sharpton.

Real Clear Politics captured crazy comments from MSNBC host Joy Reid from an October 15 panel discussion. If Trump wins, "There will be camps. There will be Project 2025. There could be arrests of people like Adam Schiff, there could be Nancy Pelosi being hauled off to jail."

At this point in the 2016 election, the liberal media were sure that their months of hostile negative coverage had succeeded in destroying Donald Trump’s chances of winning the presidency.
