Reacting to Donald Trump’s nomination acceptance speech to conclude the Republican National Convention (RNC), Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson and MSNBC’s AM Joy host Joy Reid ruled late Thursday that Trump channeled a “conservative talk radio” culture in pledging “to white America” that he would “protect” them from illegal immigrants and secularists. 

First it was MSNBC warning viewers before showing anti-Hillary Clinton buttons. On Thursday, Chris Matthews and Chuck Todd agreed that mentioning the names of big cities is racist “coded language.” Matthews previewed Donald Trump’s convention speech and was horrified over the presence of words such as “Baltimore” and “Washington D.C.”

On MSNBC’s The Place for Politics Thursday afternoon, anchor Andrea Mitchell repeatedly invited her Democrat guests to bash the Republican National Convention for it’s supposed ugly “tone” and “vitriol” towards Hillary Clinton. In two separate interviews on the show, Mitchell tried to paint this RNC convention as somehow worse in attacking the opposing candidate than other conventions.

As has been customary, the level of craziness emanating from MSNBC’s Chris Matthews grows exponentially by the late evening and early Thursday morning was no different as he ruled that the Republican National Convention (RNC) chanting “lock her up” concerning Hillary Clinton was akin to what one would hear in Buenos Aires, Argentina or Caracas, Venezuela. 

Suddenly, Chris Matthews has the best interests of Republicans at heart. The MSNBC host, who has previously trashed Ted Cruz as Lucifer, on Wednesday appeared shocked at the Republican’s convention speech. A horrified Matthews chided, “What was really out of line tonight, I think politically and historically, was for Ted Cruz to basically snub the candidate for president.” 

Warning, sensitive MSNBC viewers may want to look away. That’s essentially what Rachel Maddow told liberal watchers on Wednesday night before showing a picture of anti-Hillary Clinton buttons at the Republican convention. Considering the hateful rhetoric that’s come out of MSNBC for years, perhaps that viewer warning should have appeared in the past.
