‘Bordertown’ Gives Conservatives - and Football Fans - the Foam Finger
February 15th, 2016 2:21 PM
Remember when cartoons were just silly and didn't have an agenda? Those days are apparently long gone. Fox's new venture into the world of adult cartoons, Bordertown oozes agenda from the title to the closing credits. The main character, Bud, is an overweight, racist, border patrol agent from the town of Mexifornia. If you can get past that then you are in for a thirty-minute deluge of insults…
SHOCK: 'New Girl' Flirts with Cuckolding
February 3rd, 2016 2:23 AM
Last night’s episode of New Girl, entitled “Bob & Carol & Nick & Schmidt,” depicted the characters of FOX’s veteran comedy flirting with cuckolding. Lead Nick Miller (Jake Johnson), was visited by his cousin Bobby (Bill Burr) and Bobby’s wife Carol (Lennon Parham). Assuming they want money from him, Nick scrambles to hide his valuables. But when they finally get to the point of their…

X-Files: 'You Can't Transform Into a Different Sex! That's Nuts!'
February 1st, 2016 11:27 PM
In the new X-Files episode "Mulder & Scully Meet the Were-Monster," the monster of the week is a horned lizard that transforms into a human and back. At one point the monster is hit by a former man who "transitioned last year" into a woman. Talking about it later, Fox Mulder tries to explain what transgender means to the human form of the lizard, and it does not compute.

'X-Files' Monster of the Week: Pro-Life Catholics
January 26th, 2016 7:22 PM
Stop me if you’ve heard this storyline before: a pious Catholic turns out to be an evil hypocrite. Yes, this tired trope was seen once again on TV last night, this time in The X-Files episode “Founder’s Mutation.” Sadly this is the second time in a row The X-Files has used conspiracy theories to impugn the right and it's getting old.

Bill Maher Applauds Seth MacFarlane's Beyond Vile Attack on Jesus
January 26th, 2016 12:00 PM
When serial anti-Catholic bigots Bill Maher and Seth MacFarlane get together, it is a sure fire recipe for new lows in tastelessness. And that's what we got on HBO last Friday night, as MacFarlane appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher. "…[Y]ou're so lucky that you do cartoons," Maher told the creator of Fox's Family Guy, 'because the things you get away with in cartoons—I'm so jealous." The…
Sympathy for the Devil: How ‘Lucifer’ Glorifies Satan
January 25th, 2016 11:38 PM
It’s been said, “The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.” Fox’s new drama Lucifer seems hell bent on convincing the world he is harmless and sympathetic. Look no further than Fox’s slogan for the show, “He gives bad a good name.”
‘X-Files’ Return Uses Conspiracy Theories to Impugn the Right
January 25th, 2016 6:25 AM
The popular 90's-era science fiction TV show The X-Files is back on prime time with a special 6 episode run. The series, which ran on Fox for 9 seasons between 1993 and 2002 and produced two movies, returned with some new conspiracy theories related to the show’s long quest for the truth about extraterrestrials – as well as a lot of unnecessary politics.
Fox's 'Bordertown' Proselytizes Against Christianity
January 22nd, 2016 2:55 AM
Bordertown is no stranger to controversy. In its very first episode, FOX's brand new animated comedy raged against everyone. From its unrepentant, racist protagonist to the worthless, whiny millennial do-gooder, no group was spared. At the time, I asked how long Bordertown could keep up with this shtick. Not long, apparently. By the show's second episode, Bordertown's writers had slipped into the…
New Show ‘Bordertown’ Already Resorts to Old Bush and Katrina Jokes
January 11th, 2016 12:59 AM
It’s been a nearly a decade since President George W. Bush left the oval office, but Seth MacFarlane is still telling the same, stale jokes. Apparently unaware that the 2008 elections happened, last night’s episode (titled "Borderwall") of the latest FOX animated comedy Bordertown stuck with a tried-and-true liberal trope: insulting the 43rd president.

No Surprise: ABC’s Stephanopoulos Lobs Softballs at WH Chief of Staff
January 10th, 2016 7:34 PM
White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough appeared on four of the five major Sunday morning talk shows in advance of President Obama’s final State of the Union on Tuesday night and, when comparing those he sat for with ABC’s This Week host George Stephanopoulos and Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace, the contrast couldn’t be any more stark with the former lobbing softballs as the latter…

It is the 15th and final season of Fox's reality singing competition show American Idol and they saved the best audition moment of the night for last. You will definitely want to watch this - and have the tissues handy!
Wildly Offensive New Show ‘Bordertown’ Takes Aim at Everyone
January 4th, 2016 1:47 AM
FOX’s new animated comedy from executive producer Seth MacFarlane, Bordertown, spared no individual, group, or social cause in its debut episode last night, "The Engagement." The show, set on the US/Mexico border in the fictional town of Mexifornia, hops neatly from one stereotype to the next, apparently out to offend every conceivable person.
Bleah! Homer Simpson Caught Kissing Elizabeth Warren!
January 3rd, 2016 11:29 PM
Viewers were met with an ugly sight in the opening scene of the latest episode of The Simpson's, "The Girl Code." Marge makes a surprise visit to the plant to deliver Homer’s lunch. In an attempt to make his office “a little more Marge-friendly,” Homer jumps up to hide a poster of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), putting it away with a kiss and saying, “See you soon, Liz-Liz.” BLEH!
Miss Universe Contestants Flub Gun Control and Terrorism Questions
December 21st, 2015 5:33 AM
Everyone’s talking about how the wrong person was crowned Miss Universe but did you hear what Miss USA said about gun control or Miss France about terrorism? While Steve Harvey majorly screwed up last night when he announced the wrong 2015 Miss Universe winner, some of the contestants really stepped in it themselves during the question and answer portion of the competition.
