Media Outlets Distort Study to Blame Climate for Drowned Islands

The global warming alarmists in the liberal media always latch on to events and blame them on climate change. It’s their regular M.O. But recent reports claiming climate change was responsible for drowning five Pacific Islands misrepresented the science. This irritated Dr. Simon Albert, a researcher at the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Queensland, one of the scientists whose…

Why Is Ronan Farrow Ruining Woody Allen's New Film Debut in France?

Woody Allen is facing a rough start to the Cannes Film Festival.  The Hollywood Reporter informed readers it was banned Thursday's from lunch event by Allen's longtime publicist, Leslee Dart. Why? THR published an article by former Allen’s son Ronan Farrow, the former MSNBC host, lamenting the media’s failure to promote the charges that Allen had molested his sister Dylan Farrow.

Secs to FBI Chief Talking ‘Criminal Investigation' of Hillary E-Mails

After all three Wednesday network evening newscasts censored any coverage of FBI director James Comey labeling the bureau’s probe into Hillary Clinton’s private e-mail server a “criminal investigation,” on Thursday, only CBS This Morning made any mention of the development. In a mere 21-second news brief, co-host Norah O’Donnell informed viewers: “The head of the FBI confirms the probe of Hillary…

Bye-Bye Morley! Retiring 60 Minutes Correspondent’s Liberal Moments

On Wednesday, CBS News announced that Morley Safer, 60 Minutes’ longest-serving correspondent, will officially retire this week. Safer’s first season with 60 Minutes was in 1970 and while the MRC’s archive is extensive, it doesn’t go back as far as Safer’s first year. But a review does find a few revealing examples of Safer’s liberalness over the years.

NBC’s Lauer to Quayle: ‘People Worried’ About Your ‘Qualifications'

During an interview with Dan Quayle on Thursday’s NBC Today, co-host Matt Lauer reminded the former Republican vice president of the liberal media narrative that he was unqualified for the job: “And in all honesty, your qualifications were questioned when you became vice president. People worried whether you had the experience to be vice president or president, if that would happen.”

ABC: ‘Bombshell’ Weiner Doc Comes at ‘Worst Time’ for Hillary

In a surprising twist, ABC’s Good Morning America on Thursday hyped the “bombshell” documentary on Anthony Weiner and Hillary Clinton’s aide, Huma Abedin. Yet, the tone of the Jon Karl segment was worried. The reporter fretted, “This documentary with extraordinary behind-the-scenes footage dredging it all up again at the worst possible time for Hillary Clinton and her closest aide.”

NYT Op-Ed: Supremacy Of Western Philosophy 'Hard to Justify'

Western civilization and its philosophical underpinning are overrated, according to leftist university students and faculty and many members of the media. Each year they try their best to take Western philosophy courses down more than a few pegs in academic importance and sometimes even replace them. The New York Times’ opinion page featured a column Wednesday undermining the value of Western…

Media: Gay Cartoon Characters Needed to Fight Bigotry of Parents

Straight Disney characters are so 2015! Elsa should just let it go and embrace her inner lesbian princess. That’s what LGBT supporters are demanding of Frozen and other Disney films. And now Washington Post writer Jessica Contrera has noticed the absence of gay characters in Disney as well. There have been some ambiguous relationships between minor characters, such as the two male antelope…

Salon: Orcas and Caribou Have ‘Normal’ Abortions Just Like Humans!

Abortion is just a part of nature, according to one liberal writer. Earlier this month, Salon published a story with the subhead, “What do whales, caribou and humans have in common? Abortion as a response to ill health and resource scarcity.” For the liberal site, writer Valerie Tarico, who describes herself as “pro-abortion,” insisted that human abortion is an “ordinary but important part of…

Pro-Sanctuary City Coverage Dominates Telemundo

It’s a pretty safe bet that you’ll never see much of the pro-law enforcement side of any news story on NBC’s Spanish-language sister network, Telemundo. That was the case again this week, as the network once again failed to fairly cover anti-sanctuary city views, just as officials in San Francisco were debating their sanctuary city policy.

NBC’s ‘Chicago PD’ Flips the Phony Narrative of #BLM

In Wednesday's episode of NBC’s Chicago PD, “Justice,” the honesty of one of that network’s Chicago-centric shows was in full display. Instead of spiraling down into justifications for the Black Lives Matter social justice warriors and their completely discredited lie of “hands up, don’t shoot” chants and riots, the other side was shown – that of the cops involved.

Wilmore Mocks Conservative Speech Suppression by Facebook

“Suppression of conservative speech, yeah,” sung a joyful voice leading into Larry Wilmore’s coverage of the suppression of speech by Facebook on Wednesday’s Nightly Show. Wilmore was quick to mock the offence saying, “That’s awful. I mean, I thought the only thing Facebook suppressed was any sense of self-control.” Wilmore barely took the issue seriously and ridiculed the Senate inquiry before…

During a discussion of GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump indicating that he was willing to negotiate over both taxes and the minimum wage, and possibly end up raising taxes on the wealthy, CNN's Wolf Blitzer on The Situation Room praised the GOP candidate for having a willingness to compromise, unlike "some very conservative Republican hardliners."
