Obama Immigration Ally Unchallenged on Telemundo

“Deportation Relief Stuck” was the title of a slanted segment on the latest edition of Enfoque, Telemundo’s weekly public affairs talk show. Host José Díaz-Balart allowed Congressman Luis Gutiérrez (D-IL) to go unchallenged as the segment’s sole guest in the discussion of the plight of President Obama’s Executive Amnesty, the implementation of which has so far been blocked by federal courts.

Carly Fiorina Runs Circles Around Andrea Mitchell, Blasts Hillary

During a live interview with Carly Fiorina on Wednesday, MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell fretted over the Republican presidential candidate’s attacks on Hillary Clinton: “She's had a lifetime, though, in public service. Going back to before she was first lady in Arkansas. She can argue that she's got a record on women's issues, from the Beijing Women's Conference to all of her work with the Children's…

No 'Happily Ali After' Interviews for Mrs. Stephanopoulos

It looks like ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos isn’t the only one affected by his Clinton Foundation donation scandal.  His wife, author and actress Ali Wentworth, is cancelling appearances to promote her upcoming book Happily Ali After and Other Fairly True Tales. Tweeting excitement just days before her scheduled appearance on Bravo’s goofy-barroom late-night show Watch What Happens Live…

AP: Bill Clinton's Shell Company Only Evidence of 'Complexity'

The Associated Press and Stephen Braun did all they could to cover for the Clintons yesterday. First, the wire service attached the most boring headline imaginable to Braun's story about Bill Clinton's shell company shenanigans: "Bill Clinton company shows complexity of family finances." The message to subscribers, particularly the broadcast networks: "This is boring and time-consuming. Don't…

Conan O'Brien Mocks Hillary Clinton's Six-Figure Speaking Fees

TBS host Conan O'Brien took a new comedic shot at Hillary Clinton in a Wednesday post on Twitter – specifically, six-figure speaking fees that the former first lady charges; and, along with her husband's speaking engagements, has netted the couple $30 million in 16 months. O'Brien wrote, "I'd love to have @HillaryClinton as a guest on the show, but I can't afford her speaking fee."

'Bipartisan' CNN Panel Slams Marco Rubio's 'Hate Speech' Warning

Wednesday's New Day shut out social conservatives from a panel discussion on Senator Marco Rubio's Tuesday remark that "if you do not support same-sex marriage, you're labeled a homophobe and a hater," and that "the next step is to argue that the teachings of mainstream Christianity – the Catechism of the Catholic Church –  is hate speech." Instead, the CNN morning show brought on a Republican…

Rachel Maddow Fawns Over Socialist Bernie Sanders After Announcement

The cheering section for Bernie Sanders (I-VT) at MSNBC is growing with each passing day. Wednesday night, Rachel Maddow was upbeat about the self-described socialist’s chances in the 2016 presidential election, complaining the media have unfairly dismissed Sanders’ ability to compete with Hillary Clinton: “The beltway media has been treating Bernie Sanders almost like a gadfly, somebody who…

Abortion Worker ‘Proud’ of Job Where ‘Tiny Arms’ Float in Baking Pans

If you want to learn how horrendous abortion is, go straight to the source: abortion clinic workers with a media platform. In a May 24 story for Salon, Florida-based writer Amy Beeman wrote that “Working at an abortion clinic challenged my pro-choice views — and confirmed them.” In her piece, she wrote about her former job at a “women’s clinic” where she first saw “tiny arms and legs floating"…

No Memorial Day for Inner-City Dead

"Black lives matter!" was the chant heard at recent demonstrations in cities and towns from Ferguson, Missouri, to Baltimore, Maryland. Yes, they do matter, but apparently not so much to some other blacks. Only when a white police officer shoots or engages in other behavior that results in the death of a black man do black lives seem to matter.

Bill Clinton's Shell Company? Weapons Deals for Donors? Nets Yawn

All three networks on Wednesday morning ignored the latest questions to hit the Clintons and their foundation. The Associated Press reported on Tuesday that "newly released financial files on Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton's growing fortune omit a company with no apparent employees or assets that the former president has legally used to provide consulting and other services."

Tom Steyer Tells PBS He's 'David' Standing Against Koch 'Goliath'

Apparently Tom Steyer knows his Bible better than he knows math. Or perhaps he just hasn't had a heart to heart with his accountant in several years.  Liberal climate change activist and political donor Tom Steyer likened himself to David, fighting against the "Goliath" of conservative political donors, in a May 26 interview with PBS NewsHour. He lamented, "when you look at the relatie dollars,…

NBC, ABC Ignore Court Ruling Against Obama Immigration Amnesty Order

In November of 2014 all three broadcast networks hailed President Obama’s executive order granting amnesty to illegal immigrants. However, following Tuesday’s decision by the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals to refuse lifting a stay on the controversial order, the NBC and ABC morning shows both ignored the ruling, with Wednesday’s CBS This Morning providing a mere 17 seconds of coverage.
