Cop-Hostile NYT’s Advice to Pro-Gun Conservatives: Listen to Police

Strange new respect for law enforcement in Wednesday’s New York Times: Campbell Robertson and Timothy Williams teamed for a story from Mississippi, “States Widening Gun Rights Lose Longtime Ally: Police.” This is the same newspaper whose reporters are waiting impatiently for convictions of the Baltimore police officers indicted (and possibly railroaded) in the death of Freddie Grey. The same…

Mark Levin Slams Fox for Allowing Trump’s Bizarre Smear of Cruz’s Dad

In a LevinTV video made publicly available, conservative author and talk-radio host Mark Levin slammed Fox News for allowing Donald Trump to spread the bizarre National Enquirer smear of Ted Cruz’s father Rafael, suggesting that he was “caught on camera” standing next to John F. Kennedy’s assassin Lee Harvey Oswald in New Orleans in 1963. Borrowing a turn of phrase from Sarah Palin, the Enquirer…

ABC, CBS Gloss Over Hillary’s 18th Loss: She’s Looking to November

Hillary Clinton on Tuesday night went down to defeat in Indiana. This is her 18th primary or caucus loss to Bernie Sanders. The former Secretary of State has won an unimpressive 23 times against the aging socialist. Yet, ABC and CBS largely glossed over Clinton’s string of losses and insisted the important part is that she’ll win the nomination.

Wait, What? ABC: Trump Is Like a ‘Greek’ God From ‘Mount Olympus’

Good Morning America’s Matthew Dowd on Wednesday offered a weird analogy for the status of Donald Trump: He’s like a Greek god from Mount Olympus. The network analyst blurted, “It's almost as if this is out of Greek mythology, right?”

CBS’s Rose Holds Up Daily News GOP Obituary to RNC Chair

During an interview with Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus on Wednesday’s CBS This Morning, co-host Charlie Rose gleefully held up a copy of the Daily News and read the mock obituary on the cover of the left-wing tabloid: “...it says, ‘Republican Party 1854-2016; Dearly beloved, we're gathered here today to mourn the GOP. A once great political party killed by epidemic of…

AP Uses Soldier's Death to Smear His Grandfather (See Update)

The establishment press seemingly never misses an opportunity to smear a conservative's or businessperson's reputation upon their death. For those who need reminders, see how the Associated Press went after Tony Snow in 2008 and how the New York Times treated Cracker Barrel founder Danny Evins in 2012. Today, the AP took matters a step further, using the occasion of a soldier's death to smear his…

RedState: Trump-Boosting Is Causing Fox to Lose to CNN

Leon Wolf at RedState notes that CNN is touting that it has beaten Fox News in the primetime ratings in the key age demographic of 25 to 54 in five of the last eight months. In all-day ratings in that demographic, CNN used to have less than half of Fox's overall viewership, but they now are behind Fox News by nine percent. Wolf says Trump-boosting is eating into Fox's numbers:

Bozell & Graham Column: Trump's Press Clips Better Than Hillary's?

Politico’s bi-monthly magazine published their third annual “Media Issue,” complete with polls of reporters – who are perhaps the most resistant to being polled, fearing how they might reveal which viewpoint is ideologically dominant in the press. But the media’s true tilt might be implied from the question “Knowing what you know now, who do think will be the next president?” It wasn’t close.…

MSNBC's Schmidt Blames Levin for ‘Demise of the Conservative Movement'

Lacking any self-examination whatsoever, failed McCain campaign head and MSNBC political analyst Steve Schmidt lashed out late Wednesday evening on Mark Levin as the embodiment of “narcissism” and “self-aggrandizers” who have created a “cancer” that’s led “the demise of the conservative movement in the Republican Party.”

After Indiana Victory, CNN Badgers Sanders on When He'll Quit

Senator Bernie Sanders scored a major victory in his fight against the Clinton political machine Tuesday night in the Indiana primary. Even with that victory the Hillary Clinton friendly media is still calling for Sanders to suspend his campaign and drop out of the race. “Staying in this race, aren't you effectively making it harder for the Democrats to beat the man who you say would be so bad?”…
