Univision-owned and far-left sports site Deadspin took a dive into the gutter on Tuesday night, telling Republican Senator Ted Cruz (Tex.) to “go eat shit” on Twitter following a post about Cruz playing pick-up basketball games with Senate colleagues.

David Brooks Hammered on Twitter for Critical Column on Women's March

If there's one thing “tolerant” liberals hate, it's being told they're wrong about something. That was the case when New York Times columnist David Brooks declared that the Women's Marches on Saturday "can never be an effective opposition to Donald Trump” because “this movement focuses on the wrong issues.”

Three days after the far-left Women’s March on Washington, CNN Newsroom host Brooke Baldwin played the role of publicist, relaying new interviews she conducted there and promised them that she’ll “check[ing] back in every ten days” in lockstep with their Ten Actions in 100 Days plan.

Fake News: CBC Show Hires Actor to Portray Racist Trump Supporter

It seems that the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's Marketplace show was unable to find a racist Trump supporter. Instead they hired an actor named Mike to portray one as you shall see. Mike's job as a racist Trump supporter was to sell a couple of White Power T-shirts along with a "Make Canada Great Again" T-shirt. It was their laughably unsubtle attempt to link Donald Trump to racism.

As Trump Freezes Federal Hiring, AP Hides 'Dramatic' Workforce Growth

In a Tuesday morning dispatch about President Donald Trump's federal hiring freeze, the Associated Press's Matthew Barakat presented a quote from Trump Press Secretary Sean Spicer. He followed it with a statistic which he wants readers to believe refutes Spicer's claim. That statistic does no such thing, but I expect, even though it's remarkably lazy and misleading, that it will become a very…

Nets Ignore Study Says CDC 'Duplicating Work of 19 Other' Agencies

For years, conservatives and libertarians have been demanding the government rein in wasteful federal spending. Even liberal former President Obama once promoted the idea of agency consolidation. One agency, the Centers for Disease Control, has been called out for wasteful spending and duplication of effort for many years. Now a new report published Dec. 19, 2016, by EconoSTATS had done it again…

Rhetoric and Reality

President Donald Trump's inaugural address may not have risen to the rhetorical level of John F. Kennedy ("The torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans" and "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country"), or Ronald Reagan's critique of government ("Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem"), or even Barack Obama's in…

CNN's Van Jones: Trump Is Leader With 'More Authoritarian Overtones'

On Monday's Anderson Cooper 360, CNN's Van Jones offered his theory about the controversy over the size of the crowd that attended President Trump's inauguration: "Ordinary leaders rely on the Constitution as a source of their legitimacy. But you get these kind of leaders that have these more authoritarian overtones — it's not the power of our constitution; it's the size of their crowds. The…

NYT Columnist Warns Media Against 'Hysterical' Opposition to Trump

New York Times right-of-center columnist Ross Douthat diplomatically but thoroughly documented the liberal bias and anti-Trump animus in the mainstream press. Of necessity, he avoided criticizing his own paper, but some of the shrewd points he made in “The Tempting of the Media” on Sunday certainly apply to journalists at his own paper. Douthat summarized “two common views among journalists about…

Will Oscar-Nominated Streep Deliver Another Liberal Tirade?

Unfortunately, we may have to endure yet another Trump tirade from Meryl Streep. On Jan. 24, 2017 the Huffington Post reported that Meryl Streep was nominated for her 20th Academy Award. “Queen Meryl” as the Huffington Post referred to her, made headlines recently after going on a six minute rant at the Golden Globes about how terrible she thinks Donald Trump is.
