During Sunday’s AM Joy, fill-in host Jonathan Capehart and his panel discussed yet another tweet from President Trump dubbing the news media as the "enemy of the people" with Capehart arguing that Trump's tweet has “real world consequences,” referring to a bomb threat that forced the evacuation of CNN headquarters hours after the President sent out that tweet.

While Joy Reid may have been absent on Sunday’s edition of her MSNBC show, AM Joy, that did not mean that her loyal viewers did not have the opportunity to enjoy the hysterical anti-Trump commentary that they so look forward to every weekend. In spite of all the Trump-hating, anti-Trump Republican Strategist Evan Siegfried did manage to make a good point or two when highlighting why conservatives distrust the media.

On Tuesday's Hardball, MSNBC host Chris Matthews demonstrated that there's no limit to how far liberals will stretch to faux-interpret coded language into the words of conservatives as he actually suggested that the use of the words "conservative values" in Mississippi are a coded reference to white supremacists in the state.

Appearing on MSNBC Live With Craig Melvin late Tuesday morning, left-wing Washington Post columnist Jonathan Capehart accused anyone voting for Republicans in the midterm elections of being “okay” with “racism.” Asked later if some Democrats running in red states were “perhaps a little left of the center,” he dismissed such concerns and insisted they were just living their “truth.”

It’s not unusual to hear a prominent politician accusing NBC News of bias. However, when that politician is Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and she’s accusing NBC of bias while appearing on MSNBC, it stands out. She made the claim on Sunday’s AM Joy, laughably arguing that the friendly broadcast network was out to get her.

On Monday, the liberal media breathed a collective sigh of relief over 85-year-old Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s announcement over the weekend that she plans to stay on the high court for at least another five years. The coverage demonstrated how even the thought of Donald Trump naming the liberal justice’s replacement strikes terror into the hearts of reporters.

Occasionally, MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews has provided us with moments of humor and levity (though most of the time at his own expense) and Wednesday was no exception as he took time to mock anti-Trump Republicans and faux Republicans pleading with voters to back Democrats in November.

The Aspen Ideas Festival has a reputation of being an elitist conclave of liberal academics, journalists, and pundits (with rare exceptions) to pat themselves on the back and how they could work together to advance their left-of-center worldviews. So it was no surprise when the late June gathering held a June 27 panel called “How We Survive Attacks on Journalism” and featured a who’s who from the liberal media.

During MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports on Friday, Mitchell and her liberal guests all agreed that Playboy’s Brian Karem was completely “justified” in attempting to shout down and scold White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders during Thursday’s chaotic press briefing. The panel of media pundits even lamented that there weren’t more reporters as unhinged as Karem in the White House press corps.

While commemorating the life and legacy of Barbara Bush on her Monday show, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell rightfully highlighted the former First Lady’s advocacy for AIDS patients. However, she and left-wing Washington Post columnist Jonathan Capehart then used the topic to falsely slam “the unbelievable and shameful silence of the Reagan administration.”

Following the revelation on Monday that the FBI had raided the office of Donald Trump’s lawyer, the recent developments in Syria took a back seat on MSNBC’s evening shows. However, Hardball host Chris Matthews found a creative way to tie the stories together: by predicting the President would bomb Syria to distract from the raid.

Since Sunday night, the liberal media have been haranguing network affiliate owner Sinclair Broadcast Group (SBG) for a new “must-run” promo that warned against “biased and false news.” The two have slammed it as Trump-backed “state-run TV” on par with the former Soviet outlet Pravda that's “chilling,” frightening” and “a really embarrassing moment for journalism.” A NewsBusters study examined the two cable networks on April 2 found that CNN spent 76 minutes and 42 seconds while MSNBC hyperventilated for nearly twice as long at 134 minutes and 42 seconds.
